She smiled viciously. Too many teeth flashed and her eyes held no trace of warmth. She was like a serpent and he was her prey. /"Well, since you're here, you may as well help me with some shopping./"

He would rather have walked a mile-long path made up of loose lego bricks whilst barefoot than do that, he figured that as they were in public and Jamie had lifted his head from his shoulder groggily, he would try polite first.

/"Actually, I'm in quite a hurry./" He glanced down at his watch to emphasise, flashing her a smile that was all rainbows and candy canes.

/"Too busy for the woman that gave you life?/" she asked with a dramatic sniff. She was dressed in an ankle-length, black furry dress with a fluffy scarf around her neck and wide-rimmed hat with a veil to match. She looked like she had just come from a funeral. Jamie must have thought so too as he whimpered as her harsh glare landed on him, burying his face deeper into Stryker's shoulder.
