"What the hell are you doing here,Miss Aggarwal?" Damien glared.

Vaidehi gulped the last spoon of peanut butter quickely , composing herself she smiled sarcastically and replied,"Trying to build time machine, want to help me?"

"Miss.Aggarwal, what are you doing here at this time of the night?"He asked again and this time his voice held a warning of Say-the-truth-or-bare-the-concequence.

Vaidehi rolled her eyes and jumped from the table with the jar of peanut butter in her hand.

"Making sand castle, wanna join me?" She smile cheekily.

"Listen–" Before he could complete his sentence ,she shoved a big scoop of peanut butter on his mouth shutting him up.

"Enjoy, sir." She bow curtly with a cheeky smile plastered on her face and walked away humming a tune to herself.

Vaidehi sat on her cabin during break and was lost in thought about face-timed her family. All she did was text them or just talk with them on call.

She knows that if, they get to know about her staying alone and not just that share her home with male spices? They will pack her in a suitcase and shift her back to India.

She felt selfish and guilt for doing this but, she does not have any other option.

She knew has to tell them the truth soon, before they get to know it from someone else.

She wiped her tears quickly as she saw Alex.

"Hey, Vaidehi! How are you? Haven't seen in a long time." He said and side hugged her and sat next to her.

"I am good, you tell me! Are you still being a drama queen and troubling that poor soul?" She teased.

"What?No! Whom are you talking about?" His face flushed red as he looked down?

"Taylorrrrrrrrr "She wiggled her eyebrow and stressed the 'R'.

Alex choked on his coffee listening to her.

"What? I don't like h-" He said in between his coughing fit.

"What? I just ask if you like Taylor Swift, why are you blushing because of that." Vaidehi said innocently and looked at him.

"I thought–"

"You thought?"

"Vaidehi Aggarwal come to my cabin, now!" Both of them stood up listening to Damien's loud voice.

"Ye-Yes, sir!" She quickly said by and ran toward Damien's cabin.

Entering inside his cabin, she saw that was typing something furiously.

She cleared her throat.

"Go and get me a cup of black coffee and bring me the files of ShineIn, the presentation that you made few weeks ago." He said without looking at her still typing on his laptop.

Vaidehi made a face and stormed out to get him his coffee.

Balancing a tray and a file in her hand she clumsily toward his office.

Somehow pushing opened the door she walked inside.

But Vaidehi being Vaidehi, stumbled and the tray fell from her hand.

"Noooo" She screamed but as if everything was moving in slow motion.

Until the hot black coffee fell of Damien and the files in front of him.

You are dead Vaidehi, ran for your dear life, she thought to herself and just before she could open the door, she was pinned on the wall.

"Miss Vaidehi Aggarwal you better learn how to walk from toddlers!" Damien glared.

"Yo-" Vaidehi tried to said but her voice and soul left her nobody with a woosh as Damien lean and whispered near her ear, his beard soft gazing her cheeks, "Don't mess with me, Miss little stalker!"

He quickly left her and walked away.

What just happened? She thought to herself.

It was around evening when Vaidehi sat in the garden with her favorite novel.

She stuffed her mouth with chips whilst reading.

Her face turned from sad to happy and then angry.

Just when she was about to read the climax of the book a voice interrupted her.

"And he died in the end!"

Oh, he didn't just spoiled this novel for her!

She got up rolled her none existing sleeve and charged toward Damien.

"STOP ANNOYING ME! How dare to said the spoiler?" She jumped on his back like a monkey and shook him vigorously.

"You tyrannosaurus, I will chop you into pieces!"She held the back of his neck and shooked him.

Damien looked flabbergasted and looked shook as if someone said this is the last day of earth.

Vaidehi didn't realize and her hand touched his chest and he let out a small yelp.

"Oh my God! Are you okay, Mr.Ryder!?"She looked at him worriedly.

"I am fine it nothing."He said and tried not to look at Vaidehi.

"You listen to me and open your shirt!"Vaidehi ordered.

"Why? You control yourself ,sugarplum?" He asked with a teasing smirk.

For a second he totally forgot that ,they fought with each other.

"Shut up and don't change the topic!" She glared and him.

"Fine!"He opened his shirt and Vaidehi let it a yelp looking at the burning mark on his chest.

Her eyes brim with tears because she knew it was because of her.

She did say anything but, just held his and held him to his room and got the first aid kit. She flinched everything her hand touched his chest to apply for the medicine.

Damien kept looking at her with an unknown emotions on his face.

Vaidehi sighed and wiped her tears, she gave him a weak smile before walk out of his room.

Around midnight, She heard some sound and woke up startled, realizing that it's Damien crying for help, she quickly ran and without bothering to knock she entered inside.

"Hey, hey it's okay wake up."

"Everything is fine." She held his face and shook him softly.

He suddenly got up and wanted heavily.

"Hey ,you okay?" She asked softly and patted his face with the end of her scarf.

"Can you leave me alone for a second?" He asked looking down at his shaky hands.

Vaidehi looked at him worriedly as asked "Hey, it alright.Do you want to talk about it?"

He shook his head in a no.

"But you will feel better."

"CAN YOU JUST UNDERSTAND THAT I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT?"He screams looking at her.

Vaidehi staggering back in fear and whisper a small sorry before walking out of his room.

"Fuck!" He cursed as he realized what he just did and ranked his hand through his hair.

The next morning Damien search for Vaidehi but couldn't find her.

His heart thudded inside , he looked around the house frantically.

Suddenly his eyes few on a yellow color sticky not.

Eat the burned toast that I made.

And don't worry,I am out with Rithika.You're not getting ride of me anytime soon.
