CHAPTER 1

A year ago

"Miss Evans would you like to tell us the anwer since you look as you're paying attention to my lecture?" I heard Mr Mayers, my Physics professor asking. I looked at him in the eyes and just stared...I was zonded out from the lecture that I didn't hear a single word he said. I mean who zones out in physics..ohh wait i do.. I looked at his brown eyes that always stared at me with a cold glare. He was wearing a blue shirt that was rolled up his arms and tucked into his black trousers.

His brown hair was comb neatly and his chunky jawline had a stubble that was in of need a shaving...I was in my own world when Mark, my best friend, who sat next to me kicked my foot under my table. I quickly averted my eyes from my professor to my best friend..."The object's velocity is at its maxim on point B just before the object collides with the wall", I heard Mark say...huh? what was he rambling on about.

I gaped at him, then I heard a clearing trought, "well, are you going to answer me miss Evan's or are you going to stare like a deer caught in headlights?" He raised his eyebrows and glared at me. what's with this guy and glaring...he seemed to be losing his patience as he raised his eyebrows again.

I felt a blush creep in my face and I opened my mouth only to close it again, I heard Mark explaining what he said again and I knew that I was supposed to reply with the answer he told me. I mentally thanked him and smiled at him. "The object's velocity is at its maxim on point B just before the object collides with the wall"... I saw Mr Mayers's jaw tick and he gave me a nod...

He continued with his lecture and I continued zoning out on him..."He's really annoying" I heard one of the girls seated behind me...if only they knew that to me he was not only annoying but he loved making my life miserable.. he would always pack me with extra homework because I always zone out of his classes....I mean seriously..

I continued with my zoning out until I noticed him checking his watch and I knew what that meant..he did that everytime the lecture was over, I was sad and happy at the same time..sad because my I had to go to my next class where I had to strictly be awake..let's just say me and math are enemies... but happy that I was done with physics for the day.

"Okay listen up, I want all of you to quit slacking on my class and get your shit together...i won't look bad in front of the dean because you lazy shitheads decided to sleep in my class...I want you all to study for next week because I'll have a test prepared for you. Now get out of my class".. I forgot to mention he has such a nasty way with his words and has a temper to match.

No one had to tell us twice as we all went for the door.

"I think Mr M is going to make this test extremely hard, I mean why does this dude make our lives so hard..I think he has it in for us, I'm sure he enjoys making our lives miserable" Mark said. "Dude I know right...i think he has it for me.. he's not that bad to you"..

Mark stood still and folded his bulcky arms, his long blond hair that reached his shoulders bounced as he did..his chocolate brown eyes stared at me in confusion and pink half-full lips gaped at me..

"Are you shitting me right now, can't you see the dude is a pain in my ass too?"

"Dude you only hate him, I'm the one who has the right to loathe him...he likes to make it so difficult for me...I mean why does he even feel the need to ask me questions every time...I mean he has a class full of students but decides I should always be the one he asks"

"Really Li, I really understand your resentment towards him...the dude literally just gave us a homework that consisted of 12 pages"

"He what now?"

"Ahh I see" mark chuckled, "you were busy day dreaming during his class to actually hear what he said before he ended the lecture" I seriously got to stop zoning out during Physics.

Technically no one gave anyone homework in collage, but who am I kidding, this is Mr M were talking about and we had to do it because he would literally embarrass us in the whole class regarding our IQ... I definitely did not want to be on his bad side but I knew I was slipping on thin ice with this whole zoning out thing because one day he will actually snap and I would be the one regretting it..
