Chapter 11 of chapter 1

The smile on Mr Mount's face faltered, after the lady release the bomb. He was planning on having her after dinner and every other days to come. Now, she wants to ruined his happy moments, not in his watch!.

Mrs Brett agape at the Mercy, what the hell did she just said, was she planning to burnt the house down with the already burning flames? She shifted her gaze to her husband, his face wasn't looking too good. His expression had changed completely, she can feel the tension of anger coming out. This is not good. If Mercy leaves again, she believes she would be dead as soon Mercy steps out of the house.

"I don't think that possible!" He said coldly.

"Why now?" Mercy asked, she had to get out of here, now nothing had happened. She can't bear to be in the same with that monster.

"Because you have no right to!" He growled.

Mercy was get irritated already, had he recognized her already? She thought 

"As far I can remember milord, I am a free black and don't have  any ownership by any lords or ladies that's means I can make my decision milord" 

Mr. Mount gritted his teeth, after all these years for looking for her, and now, she finally appears from the blue. She wants to leave that soon? 

"You are ......" 

"My Mercy dear, what my husband meant was for you to stay and do anything you like. At least for your son, he deserves a good life" Mrs Brett quickly said to cut her husband short. Because if she didn't do anything, the situation would get out of hands  and everyone presence in the room would know what going on..

"You don't have to worry milady, I would work harder to give my son the best life he deserved" 

Mr. Mount chuckled, such a piercing woman, how many works was she going to do to get the boy the best life. When he fully knows that his son. He could allow the heir of his inheritance to go on in the street and suffer all the days of his life even though he still desire his mother in his bed.

"You should be grateful that we are offering a help to you and your son. Besides, the boy deserve more than that, he needs a father that would stand by him. Well, I don't mind playing that role for him"

Mercy eyes grow widened at him, playing a father role for his son, that one thing she never wants to happen. Matthew and Elsie stared confusedly at the man, was he that serious about his decision? Mrs Brett who knows well what going on did shows any surprise face at her husband, that battle the servants thought more, that she didn't even consider what her husband was saying like it not a bad that someone else husband chose to help another man son.

Not just that but a black boy for that matter! 

"Since the boy was so fond of being around my daughter. It would be good idea. Don't you think so?" He quickly said to cut off all the suspicious eyes on him.

"But that didn't still changes my mind" she said..

This woman was becoming a asshole for refusing his offer. But whether she likes it or not, she will stay!

"whether you like it or not. We both know your son wished to live here" he said and looked at the boy who face was down, as he couldn't found himself enjoying the good meal again.

He really wants to be here, played with Elsie and have good food he never had before.

"So, what do you think?" Mr. Mount  who seem not giving up that easily question the opinion of the woman. Would she really ignored the happiness of her son she claims to love? He wondered while looking for her weakly to keep her here forever beside him 

Mercy looks at her boy, she could read the expression of sadness from his eyes. She knows the boy loves to live here in such a place and have time playing with a friend that wouldn't pick on him. 

She sighed, but it for the best. She continues eating like she wasn't asked a question by Mr. Mount

He seem angry that the lady ignored his request. This woman is more stubborn than last 10 years, now she proven to be more stubborn and selfish!

"Matthew will start schooling on Monday in same school with Elsie" Mr Mouth

Everyone agape at him confused, this isn't the same Mr. Mount that they all knows. Except for Mercy who didn't pay time to look surprise at him or show any signs of emotions. 

Matthew was extremely happy hearing that he would soon starts schooling. He had never been to school before. But his mother had given him some home lesson inorder for the white not to accused him of being dumb black. Now, the news of going to school, makes he wonder how the school life is.

Elsie garbbed on his hands happily, for the first time in her life, her father had did something she wanted. She wants Matthew to attend the same school with her and be by her side  all times! 

"You are going to school!" She exclaim happily. "Yes I am!" 

Elsie turned to her father. "Thank you father for granting my wish" she bowed and the man nodded sliently..

The children seem happy indeed without knowing what going on. Mercy stared at the kids, they are really lovely to watched. Along her gaze on the kids, she could feel unwanted eyes on her.

"Didn't they look exactly like brother and sister?" Mr Mount said. Drawing the attention of the woman to his direction. Just where he wants her gaze to face, on him. 

Mercy smiled falsely, even though she knows the kids are exactly brother and sister. But her more consign was why is Mr. Mount acting so nice to them. 

Back in the days, he was never nice to the blacks. Why now, there is something suspicious about this man, what is he planning to gained from all these. Was he planning to sleep with her again even though she thought the man haven't come to recognize her. 

" Mother, I am going to school" the boy said, breaking his mother eyes contact from the man.  She just smiled. " Don't that means we are not leaving again?" Matthew asked, wanting to know his mother opinion causing Mr. Mount offer. 

"Please lady Mercy, don't go I will missed him so much please stay" she cried. That really weak Mercy down, the way the two kids shows love to each other even without knowing themselves yet, that was amazing 

"Hm" she sighed, nods her head along the way. But not giving fully in, her leaving plan was still on the desk.

"Yes!"  The children shouts rejoicing.

Mr. Mount was please with that agreement. Now, he can finally have his way with her as far as he wants. 

Welcome back my dearest Mercy, I can't wait to devour all I have missed in that body if yours. He thought, and smirks devilishly at the woman looking at the children while his wife who was beside him, reads the expression on his face. What a demon man shs get married to..

After dinner, everyone head back to their rooms. The kids waves happily to each other before heading their separate ways. 

Matthew was so happy, he can't believe this was happy to him. Yesterday he was in the street and today he is living in a fascinating mansion that he never dream of living in. 

This was amazing! His life had changed over night. He is a black kid living the life of a white kid! 

"I think you should sleep now, tomorrow is a new day and needs to start by waking up early" Mercy said to the boy who was laying on the giant bed smiling.

"Okay mother," 

"Now, close your eyes" she instructed. 

"Mother," the boy called, after feeling the softness on the bed. "Thanks for not letting us leave. I love you mother" he said smiling.

Mercy know her son wants to live here as far as he wants. She bend closer to his face and kissed his head. 

"You're welcome" she whispered. The boy finally close his eyes and sleep. 

The worries thoughts return back to Mercy, she was worried that Mr. Mount must had recognize her, the way he was staring continuously at her, something tells her he was up to something. 

Something deadly and dangerous that involved her in. With such offer, he would be expecting something in return. That unlike Mr Mount, he never does anything for free especially when it comes to the blacks..

That man was evil, all his thoughts and mind was occupied with evil mind set.

In the fascinating and luxury room of Mr and Mrs Mount. Mrs Brett laid on the massive well makes bed laying to sleep. While Mr. Mount was changing his clothes to a more freely clothes. 

She watched he, admiring the once man she fall in love with, he was enough look and breath taking, such a beautiful man but had a dark heart.

"Are you not sleeping again?" Asked Mr. Mount, when he noticed his wife was staring lustfully at him. "Or are you planning to take my  life from behind?" Comes another question on top the first.
