Chapter 1

The breeze was cold this morning. I can feel the warm rays of the sun. Even if the sun is shining, the climate is still cold. This is the climate in the Philippines.

I stretched out before getting up. this day is just regular. Going to work. Doing so many papaer works and hopefuly going home earlier but i know it wasn't going to happen at all.

I looked at the picture of it on the small table on the side of my bed.

A few years ago since he died. but I still feel pain and longing. I do not know when the wound caused by his disappearance will heal or it will never heal because no matter what I do, he is still the flesh of my heart and mind. He is very hard to forget.

I wiped away my tears and returned the photo of him.

"Andy called Mr. Sanford" I heard Adeson shout from outside the bathroom

I turned off the shower "I was taking a bath, wait for a while" I shouted and hurried what I was doing.

Mr. Sanford hates those who are always late even for a minute. late is late period

"Mr. Sanford?" I said

I used a hair drier to dry my hair easily, maybe because Mr.Sanford will let me in earlier. Santos even called.

"We will have a meeting this morning. It was an urgent meeting"

What about the meeting? because urgent is really important and that project is in a hurry.

"I'll be there Mr. Sanford"

After the call I ate and prepared all the papers I finished last night.

It was 7:30 when I arrived at the office so I accelerated my actions even more, I dont wanna be late in the meeting.

Mr. Sanford, texted me 8:00 is the start of the meeting but it will definitely start at 8:30 again, theres always who gonna be are really late. Filipino time.

"everything was cleared Mr. Sanford" I heard Amarah say from inside Mr. santos.

"oh, Hi Andy" Amarah greeted me as we met her coming out, she was holding a folder.

I smiled and nodded.

"give this to Mr. Sales" ordered Mr. Sanford.

And as his secretary I must obey all his commands.

I knocked on the door a few times but no one answered.

"Mr. Sales Andy is not here yet" said my co-worker Calesta.

I stooped to walk to my small table not far from Mr.Sanford's table.

As I said at 8:30 the meeting started because Mr. Sales is late that's refreshing.

"Why do we trust your company's quality and effectiveness?" asked Mr. Sanford to the woman presenting their proposal.

"ah - eh - Many have proven that our company is quality and effective..and-and you can be sure that your products will be popular." stuttering explanation of it.

"Find someone else," she looked at the woman "get out!" then it exploded out of the room.

Sande sighed and put away their proposals and left.

"Sir is really bad" said Kiara

I did not answer their gossip and may even reach Mr. Sanford we are talking about him and for sure "FIRED" immediately

I jumped at the sound of it. its head is hot again. we have been looking for an advertising company for a few weeks. for product release.

ten companies approached and we talked to but and no one liked Mr. santos, as Salle said, he is always not satified even though their proposal is good.

I bent down and walked towards my table. I really need to find a new company and I might just wake up tomorrow with all my belongings out of the office.

I told Adeson what Mr. Santos said.

"I'll call you when I talk to her"

When the food came, he ate it and he really invited me.

And even though I was not hungry, I just went with him.

He has a good side but his hiding it.
