CHAPTER 59: IMITATION EXPERT

The so-called "imitation expert" is a literal compliment.

In fact, it means a master of forgery who specializes in making counterfeits and fakes.

Anna hesitated for a moment before mentioning her Second Uncle in front of Sky. 

It's because their Diane family's Second Uncle is the most unpopular and notorious person in the jewelry industry.

Who made him not do the right thing but instead be keen on making fakes.

However, Second Uncle Diane has earned a lot of money because of his unique skills. Although he doesn't get along well with the elders of the Diane family, he has a good relationship with the younger generation.

He has a strange temper and hasn't married at this age. He lives alone in a villa in the suburbs.

Although he is single, he lives a very comfortable life.

"Oh, it's you, Anna. Do you have time to come and see Second Uncle? Did you have a fight with your dad again and come here for refuge?"

Sky followed Anna to a detached villa located in the suburbs.

After Anna pressed the doorbell, it didn't take long for her to see a middle-aged man in his forties or fifties, with messy clothes and an unkempt appearance, opening the door.

"What are you saying, Second Uncle? Can't I just want to see you and come over?" Anna asked, but Second Uncle Diane smiled, clearly not believing her words.

But the next second, he looked up and his gaze fell on Sky, who was following Anna, and his face visibly stiffened for a moment.

"Who is he?" Second Uncle Diane's face, hidden behind his beard, seemed to have a subtle change.

"Oh, he's my good friend Sky, I've mentioned him to you several times before. You should remember, right?" Anna said.

"Second Uncle Diane, hello," Sky greeted the elder with a nod, even though he felt his gaze on him was a bit strange.

"Last name Lan, it's probably just a coincidence that we look alike," Second Uncle Diane muttered something under his breath, and then nodded to Sky, his stiffness easing slightly.

"Okay, come in and let's talk," he said.

As soon as they entered, Anna got straight to the point and asked Second Uncle Diane to help repair a ring.

Second Uncle Diane didn't even bother to look at the ring and waved his hand to refuse.

"You came all the way here just for this? I can't waste my time on such trivial matters. If you need something fixed, go pay someone outside to do it. I'm busy!" With that, Second Uncle Diane went straight into the workshop and shut the door on them.

Anna and Sky were stunned by the sudden rejection.

Sky thought for a moment and pulled Anna aside. "Anna, let's just forget about it for today. We can think of another way later..."

"No way! Second Uncle is being unreasonable. We came all this way and he didn't even look at the thing before refusing... Just wait, I'll make him change his mind!" Anna said determinedly as she barged into the workshop.

Left alone in the living room, Sky sat on the sofa and looked around at the various ornaments, calligraphy, and antiques on display. Many of them were worth millions or even tens of millions of dollars.

However, some of the pieces, as far as she knew, had already been collected by experts in the field.

From this, it seemed that most of the items in Second Uncle Clark's house were probably fake.

However, if no one speaks up, who can tell that these are fake?

It was evident that Second Uncle Diane's forgery skills had reached a level of perfection, making it difficult to distinguish between real and fake.

Just then, Sky's phone rang.

Seeing that it was a call from the hospital, Sky quickly answered.

"Mr. Sky, congratulations... the hospital has confirmed that they can arrange surgery for your mother in ten days. Your mother is lucky as Robert, a renowned expert in this field, saw your mother's medical records this morning and has agreed to perform the surgery himself."

"As I mentioned before, the surgery is very risky. However, with Robert performing the surgery, the success rate can be increased by at least 10%. Also, the cost will remain the same as before. If everything is okay on your end, you can come to the hospital tomorrow to complete the necessary procedures."
