CHAPTER 57: LOOKS FAMILIAR
Since the day Sky cooked for Dray for the first time, their relationship seemed to have improved quite a bit. At least, every morning before Sky went to work, he would make Dray breakfast. From the beginning, it was just the soup noodles he was used to, but later on, he made a variety of breakfasts such as small wontons, pan-fried buns, dumplings, and egg pancakes, each day with a different twist. Whatever appeared in his bowl the day before, the next day there would be an identical dish on Dray's plate, specifically requested by him. Over time, not only breakfast but also dinner returned to the way it was before Eli and Aunt Mary moved in, with Sky taking full responsibility. Dray never again tortured him to cook dinner, nor did he waste or disdain his food. At least, he appeared at the dinner table every day, eating all the dishes he made at a leisurely pace. Then, every night, he would bully him as a matter of course. He said it was his supper. Sky didn't know if Dray still harbored the same deep-seated prejudices against him as before, but at least he felt that Dray's stomach accepted his cooking very well.

Time flew by.
A week later, the police investigation had come to a close. Bella was charged and it seemed like an open-and-shut case. Upon hearing the news, Bella felt extremely unlucky. That night, she had thought she could ruin Sky's reputation and make him a laughing stock in the whole city. Little did she know that Sky's luck was so good that he was saved by a mysterious man. Being saved was one thing, but she never expected that just a few days later, the police would knock on her door and take her to the station. Maddi and Lora, those useless people! They couldn't handle the police interrogation and both pointed their fingers at her, claiming that she was the mastermind behind everything. Now, not only was she not allowed to be released on bail, but even her mother's expensive lawyer shook his head and sighed, telling her to prepare for a guilty verdict. And so, she had been in jail for a week and was now facing prosecution. Bella refused to accept this outcome. "No! I plead not guilty! I didn't harm Sky at all. It was that man who was jealous of me and deliberately framed me!"
"Please, please believe me and listen to my testimony... Sky has no shame, he's promiscuous! Even his own father doesn't want him. How can you believe what he says..."
The police ignored Bella's words and sternly rebuked her, "The victim has already identified you. You don't need to be cunning anymore. Besides, you have obvious lying behavior, and there is both testimonial and material evidence, as well as a motive for the crime. Bella, you cannot escape legal sanctions. Just plead guilty."
"No... no... I won't plead guilty... I will never plead guilty!" Bella suddenly went crazy and pounded on the iron door.
"I want to see someone. I want to see my lawyer! No... I want to see Master Li... Yes, I want to see Dray. He must have a way to get me out!!!"

Sky was in the studio repairing the ring that Dray had smashed.
Suddenly, he felt a chill behind him and sneezed.
"Sky, what's wrong with you? Even with the heater on, you're sneezing. Be careful not to catch a cold and wear more clothes," Anna's voice came from behind, and she draped her coat over Sky's shoulders.
"Anna, when did you come back?"
Seeing Anna, Sky's eyes lit up.
Anna had taken her team abroad to negotiate cooperation. She had said that it would take a few more days to return to the country. Why did she suddenly come back today?
"I heard about the attack on you at Beijing University and was scared, so I hurriedly finished the work abroad and came back to see you. How are you? I heard that this matter is related to that ruthless woman, Bella. Let me see, let me see if our Sky is okay..."
Anna pulled Sky up and looked around. Suddenly, her gaze was drawn to the broken obsidian ring on the workbench by Sky.
"Hmm?" Anna's eyes showed a hint of confusion.
"This ring looks so familiar, like..."
