SAMANTHA'S POV…..

“ Lord Damian got into an accident and he is in a critical condition..” Adrian said without raising his head and this felt like a huge blow…

My heart seemed to stop beating for a brief moment and it felt like it was being squeezed by an unknown force which was strange because I wasn't supposed to feel that way…

This was the same man who made life a little unbearable for me but surprisingly It hurts so much and I couldn't control myself as a single tear rolled down my cheek…

“ Where is he?” I found myself asking… I was worried to the bone and this surprised me… not to mention how emotional I got when he broke the news to me…

“He's currently in the ICU at the moment..” Adrian informed me but unfortunately I couldn't just stay put.. I wanted to see him even if it meant tearing down the entire hospital to find him…

“Take me to him now..” I wasn't a request but an order and Adrian knew better than to object…
