Chapter 12- Engagement Shopping

Teja POV:-

We have entered the mall right now.

Tanish held my hand in a tight grip which is paining me a lot.

But I can't even whimper for the sake of our parents.

Mom, Uncle, and Aunt are looking so excited that I am feeling like they are getting married instead of us.

I wish it could be true.

" Teja, Tanish, let's go to choose your engagement rings. " Aunt said excitedly, and we nodded to the jewelry showroom.

Every piece of jewelry is expensive, which made me uncomfortable.

I have earned millions, but still, I don't like to use the money on these things for me.

" Mom, we are choosing engagement rings. Why don't you select the other jewelry pieces for yourself? " Tanish asked with a nervous look.

Even for a minute, I thought, he wants to spend his time on me with love.

" Sure, dear. Why not? " Mom said, and they left us alone.

One female attendant came and said with a professional smile, " Welcome, sir and mam, how can I help you? "

" Hello, we are looking for engagement rings. " Tanish replied with his cold tone.

" Congratulations, sure, sir. Please come. " She said and took us to the ringside showroom.

I see lots of rings, but I like only one ring, which had a cute heart shape white diamond.

It made me realize this ring is only for those, whom partners truly love them. My heart broke by my thoughts.

" Oh, so you like this ring, huh!!! " Tanish said when he realized I am not listening to them.

" NO!!! " I lied, but he ordered the attendant to show him the ring.

" Sir, I think this ring will not fit on mam's hand. " She said, but his one glare made her shut.

She took out the ring and gave it to Tanish.

Tanish looks at the ring with some emotions, While I am worried about myself.

" Give me your hand. " Tanish ordered.

I gave him my left hand, and he slid the ring in my ring finger.

But, this ring is short for me it started to pain me, while Tanish brutally forcefully slid the ring on my finger.

Tears started to form in my eyes, and I bit my lips, preventing myself from whimpering.

When he realized the ring is not going to fit on my finger, he forcefully pulled it out.

That attendant looks at us with a horrified look, but she composed herself before Tanish noticed.

" You are right. This ring is not going to fit my dear fiance. Please show us some couple rings. " Tanish said casually as if he didn't do something brutal a while ago.

" Sure, sir. " She said hesitantly and started to look for some rings.

Tanish came near my ear and said, " It was just a trailer of my revenge game. I will make your life hell, my dear fiance. "

I smiled at him and said, " I know. You don't need to remind me. "

Someone cleared their throat, and we turned to look at our family, who have a teasing smile on their lips.

I blushed.

" Mom, when will Gurpreet and Bubbly come? " I asked, trying to divert their topic.

" I got a call from Bubbly. She is not able to come today as Gurpreet has some urgent business work. " Mom replied, and I got sad.

I want to spend my time with my sister before my marriage.

I was not at her wedding.

" It's alright. Let's shopping for her. " I said, and she nodded.

" Sir, mam, please look at these rings. " The attendant said, and we look at the rings.

Tanish and my family like the rings very much, and they choose those rings for us after checking the size.

Then they look for my engagement sets.

They choose one platinum set, which has blue stones with peacock style, and the other platinum set, which has pink stones.

It has a full set like mang tika, necklace, earrings, and a cute ring.

I choose a gold set for my sister as a gift from my side.

Mom chooses a silver set for herself, but aunt chooses a twin set for themselves, which is looking good.

" Kaya, you are like a sister to me. I want us to wear the same jewelry set on our children's engagement. " Aunt said, and mom hugged her, and tears started to fall from her eyes.

" Thank you, Rajshree. I want a sister always. I can't describe my feelings in words. I love you, Rajshree. " Mom confessed, and it made me emotional too.

It's rare to see mother-in-laws behaving like a sister.

" Okay, everyone. We don't have much time. " Tanish said, spoiled our mood.

We left after shopping for the accessories we needed for the engagement.

We went to the Brides and Grooms sections.

" Moms, and, Dad, you are not going to choose any dress for my fiance. Only, I will choose it. So, you will sit on the couch and help us with the decision. " Tanish said, and they laughed, seeing Tanish possessiveness.

They sat on the couch, and Tanish started looking for some good lehengas for me.

I don't want to wear these heavy things.

But, do I have any choice?

After all, when I am going to marry a CEO.

The reporters are waiting for me to show, and they can attack me.

Aunt and uncle have called their guests already.

Even mom called some of our important guests like friends and family.

I came out of my thoughts when I heard Tanish's voice.

I look at Tanish, who shows me almost ten lehengas.

I look at him with horror, and he gave me his arrogant smirk.

I understood, he wants to irritate me.

I took them in my hands and entered the changing room with the help of the attendant.

I changed into the first lehenga, which is beautiful with red color, but the blouse back is showing, and the cleavage is too deep.

I can't go in front of my family in this dress. This dress is making me uncomfortable.

" Teja, are you done? " I heard Tanish's voice.

" No, Tanish, I will not be coming outside. The first lehenga is too revealing. " I explained.

" Teja, open the door. Let me look at you. " Tanish said, and my eyes widened.

" NO!!! " I yelled.

" Teja!!!! " He yelled, and I understood by his yelling that he is getting impatient.

I opened the door for him and saw him enter the room and look at me with lust.

I don't know, what will go to happen to me???
