Chapter 114- Diary!

Finally!!!

I am seeing Teja happy.

I still remember those days that happened three years ago.

I still remember how broken Teja was.

I still remember that day when Teja lost her second child and her mother.

Her cold and emotionless face still gave me chills in my body.

When she committed suicide and wrote those letters, I felt someone snatched my soul from me.

Yes, she is like my soul to me. I love her so much.

She was the one who brought happiness into our lives.

If Tanish didn't seek revenge for his sadistic ego, I am sure they would be happy together.

I knew Teja loved him in the past.

But he lost his chances himself.

We are at fault too.

We never tried to look for our children after their marriage.

After all, we wanted to give them time.

Teja's eyes always look dull and sad. But we thought it was about the hospital.

After all, being a doctor was not easy. You have to face a lot of emergencies.

But she forgave Angelina.

Angelina loved Teja like her daughter, which relieved me.

I saw Akaash loved her a lot. Today what he said to Teja about her whip marks which Tanish gave her, impressed me.

I know he could bring that innocent Teja back to us.

He had that capability.

I hope my daughter never loses her smile and lives her life happily with Akaash.

I want her to give Akaash a chance as he deserved it.

I know they had a long journey together to become one.

After all, Teja had to accept Akaash fully, and slowly they had to give each other their rights.

Akaash had to change all those painful memories to happy memories.

Also, he had to be more patients around Teja.

He had to control his desires for her and make her more comfortable around him.

I looked at Teja, who was preparing dinner with Angelina, Abhishek's wife, Janvi, and Rajshree.

Everyone was enjoying their time with ease.

Akaash came near me with a glass of red wine.

I took it gladly and saw Jagat and Abhishek talking to each other about a business deal.

" What are you thinking, uncle? " Akaash asked.

" I am thinking about Teja, Akaash. " I confessed and saw him looking at me with confusion.

" What are you thinking about her? " Akaash asked.

" I am thinking how this girl can be still so sweet and love us after what Tanish did to her.

You know everyone I am living in regret to not raising Tanish well. I regret to never ask about her pain whenever I saw that dull face of Teja.

How can this world be so cruel for her?

How can this girl have to suffer this much?

But I still felt proud of her.

Just look at her, after facing this much, when she came here, she opened a hospital.

In these three years, she made her hospital London's top rank hospital.

Also, she now planned to do such a good project.

She is now planning to make more branches of her hospital.

She never accepted her defeat and became independent herself.

I am proud of her. She is a pure gem that couldn't be found in this world. " I explained, and a smile formed on his lips.

" Give me that dairy, dad. " Teja stated, and I looked at her with shock.

I saw she was just a few steps away from us.

Everyone was looking at us with confusion.

" Teja, I don't think you should take that back. " I said politely.

" Dad, you are still thinking of me as that fragile girl.

I am not that Teja who broke down so easily.

Yes, I have written my worst part on that dairy.

But still, it was mine. I forgot to pack that dairy with me when I came here.

Now, you have it then, please give it back to me.

I will decide what I should do with that diary. " Teja said, and I shift uncomfortably.

" Tell me one thing. " Teja said, and I looked at her in confusion.

" Have you read that dairy? " Teja asked, and I looked at her with shock.

I looked at Rajshree, who looked at me with teary eyes. I looked at Teja, who looked at me with nervousness.

I gulped and replied, " Yes, I read your diary.

I am sorry for reading your private thing, but I wanted to know what Tanish did with you every day.

How much torture and abuse did you face three years ago? "I lowered my face in shame, and tears fell from my eyes.

After all, her diary contents were still roaming in my mind.

I am cursing myself for not being able to see the sadness in Teja's eyes.

You were the one who gave me the love of a father.

I didn't even know what fatherly love was.

You were the one who respected my wishes and decisions.

You were the one who understood me the most.

You were the one who gave me that power to achieve my ambitions, my dreams.

Because of you, today, I can become a neurosurgeon.

I wasn't able to fight without you, dad.

You never became my weakness, but my strength.

I love you. " Teja said and hugged me tightly.

I hugged her back.

" Thanks, princess.

You know you lifted the guilt burden from me.

I love you, but it always hurt me that my son hurt you the worst way possible. " I said and kissed her on the crown of the head.

She smiled, and I smiled back.

Then I gave her her dairy back.
