You Ready Cowboy?

"Are you sure you don't want me to drive you home?" Benedito fussed as he opened the door to my Dodge truck as I limped over to him with my crutches.

"I'll be fine, Otto said I could start driving," I waved my hand dismissively. 

Yesterday my stitches had been removed which meant I did not have to be scared that the wound might burst open or some shit. I was also given clearance of driving myself around which was music to my ears because that meant I had some form of my freedom back. 

Although that did not stop Benedito from worrying. 

"Maybe Pedro could take you instead, I just want to be safe," he frowned as I handed him my crutches then climbed into the truck. He placed them across the back seats for me the leaned against the door frame as I got comfortable on the seat.
