A loud scream jolted me awake as I immediately reached over to switch on the bedside lamp. I looked around frantically when I realized it was Bobby who thrashed in the bed as he tightly balled up in a foetus position. 

I rolled him onto his back as he screamed and very gently cradled him in my arms then softly called out his name. Claire had suggested when Bobby had a nightmare instead of shaking him awake which would make him panic even more, that I was to gently wake him up and embrace him. 

It had been a week since we had come back from Montana and even though everything was good between us, it did not mean Bobby's nightmares had calmed down. At least instead of every night now they popped up every few days.
