"So for how long are you staying Billie?" Ma smiled as we all sat around the dining table. I was amazed she was able to prepare so much food in such little time. Not that I was complaining, I had a huge appetite these days and I was not going to let a crumb go to waste.
"I'm not sure," I quickly swallowed, "he drugged me then put me on a jet."
"He did what?" everyone seemed to exclaim.
"I had a bit of a meltdown then he felt bad, gave me tea next thing I was knocked out," I chuckled.
Ma and Clyde looked at each other before he smiled, "well he had good intentions but the way he went about it was extreme."
"I had a good nap though," I grinned before I continued eating.
"I'm happy you're back before Independence Day," Rob beamed.
"We've never had an Independence Day without you," Willie nodded eagerly.
