"Isn't that?" I said into Benedito's ear so he could hear me over the loud music. We were both eyeing a very influential runner up for the presidential campaign as he had a young man on his lap who would constantly kiss him. He held him like some sort of trophy. 

"It is," he smiled as he took a sip of his virgin mojito. 

"I was going to vote for him," I gaped, "he has a wife."

"Most of these people are like this. These trophies of society," he chuckled before he placed his drink down on the table, "They have dark skeletons in the closet but to the public act like they are perfect."

I pursed my lips as I scanned the room, "and they all come here to do this?"
