"Bobby, you're old enough to do your own thing now," Clyde chuckled as he sat down on one of the island chairs in the kitchen.
I was at their house helping Ma make the apple crumble pie for dinner. Clyde had arrived just an hour ago and I told him all about what I had discussed with Benedito.
"I know but who's going to help you with the ranch if I'm gone?" I frowned as I crushed the biscuits for Ma whilst she fussed over the lasagne.
"Rob will help and we have enough workers. Especially with Benedito's investment. I could hire more staff to take the pressure of you both," he smiled.
"Plus I'll step in more to help," Ma chirped in.
"But won't it be an inconvenience for you. I've been handling things for so long."
