23 Celebrations Gone Wrong

Billie Bob Jones

The bar smelt like cigarettes, alcohol, wood and sweaty bodies. The room was dimly lit besides the dance floor that was slightly brighter. Ronaldo and Rob had somehow convinced us to visit a local bar after my winning and this time I quickly said yes.

A win was always a celebration and I figured it would be good for me to let loose a little. Clyde stayed back at the hotel because he believed he was too old to party. I figured Dita and Benedito would as well but she seemed just excited as we were. The billionaire looked like he could care less.

Everyone was in an incredibly good mood from the rodeo and continuously would stop by to congratulate me on winning once again. Ronaldo was already drunk and Rob no different.

You would not say one was a billionaire and one barely even owned a bicycle, they got along like two peas in a pod. I barely even understood what they were saying to each other as they continuously burst out laughing.

José looked more than irritated with them as we chatted, Dita probably thought they were the biggest idiots in the world by her facial expression, Benedito looked about ready to kill them even though he barely spoke. He would just take a sip from his glass of wine before studying the people in the room.

He seemed paranoid to me as his eyes scanned the crowd but not once focused on me. He had only spoken two words to me and that was 'well done' after it was announced I had won. It did not necessarily bother me but some form of acknowledgement would have been nice.

I sighed as I took another gulp of my whiskey and stood up from the table. "I'm going to get another drink," I sighed. For a fraction of a second he acknowledged my existence as he raised his head and looked at me before looking away. All hope was immediately burned out.

I spun on my heel and walked to the bar. As I waited for my drink a beautiful dark haired southern girl dressed in a summer dress made her way to me with a smile.

"Well look over here. I never thought I would have the privilege of meeting the man of ninety in my dear life," she grinned after she ordered a beer.

I raised my eyebrow at her and smirked. She was a confident one. "And I've always loved knowing the name of my adoring fans."

She laughed and brushed her hair behind her ear then looked up to me with her dazzling honey eyes, "Stewart, Meghan Stewart."

"It's lovely to meet you Meghan," I grinned. "You come around here often?"

"Not really I'm from a town a few minutes away. My brother was competing in the bronc riding," she pointed to a dark haired leaner man across the bar who was busy drinking with friends. "He would actually love to meet you. You're sort of an idol of his."

"I'd love to," I smiled. She wasted no time in taking my hand in hers and leading me across the room. I quickly looked back at my table and Benedito's dark eyes met mine. He looked displeased but I ignored him. Something probably crawled up his ass again.

Talking to Meghan's brother, Chris, was actually more fun than my own table. I ended up spending more time with them and eventually I was having so much fun that when my favorite song started playing I felt too good to not step onto the dance floor.

"Wanna dance Billie Bob?" Chris chuckled as he ran his fingers through his short dark brown hair.

"Let me show you how it's done ol' son," I laughed. He pulled me onto the dance floor and before long we were stomping our boots on the wooden floor. It had been forever since I danced like this and it felt amazing to do it again.

Chris's dark blue eyes continuously met mine as we danced around each other. His eyes studied my body without any hesitance and it made me feel extremely confident to see the longing in his eyes.

"Do you wanna go outside?" he whispered in my ear as everyone was too distracted dancing.

I grinned and gingerly nodded. I followed him through the crowd of dancing bodies until we made it out of the stuffy bar. The fresh air instantly made me feel a tad bit soberer as I followed Chris to his truck that was hidden behind a few other cars.

The moon partially lit up the parking lot that we continuously bumped into something causing us to burst into a fit of giggles. When we got to his truck I pressed his back against the door and stood in front of him.

"You know how to swing your hips just right," he grinned as he looked up to me with gleaming eyes. His arms wrapped around my neck as I placed my hands on his slender waist.

"They know how to do other things just right," I smirked.

"Well I guess you'll have to show me," he lowered his voice allowing the lust to slip through. My lips met with his for a drunken kiss; he tasted like beer and salty peanuts. There was nothing more to the kiss besides lust and desire, but it had been a long time since I had done this with anyone.

My tongue slipped into his mouth immediately dominating him as he whimpered against me. I detached my lips from his and kissed down his neck making him moan.

"Oh Bobby," he breathlessly said. Before I could even continue my body was ripped away from his. My back collided with something hard startling me.

Chris looked at me in horror as his hands immediately started trembling. For a second I wondered what was going on until the wind gushed blowing the scent of ginger in nostrils.

My heart fell.

"Go," Benedito growled out as he held me around the waist. Chris simply nodded in fear and scrambled away back to the bar.

My heart was beating so loudly I was afraid I was going to get a heart attack as Benedito roughly turned me around and pressed me against the truck just like how I had done Chris.

"So I was right," his dark eyes were burning into mine making my body squirm under their heat, "you are gay." His words felt like a slap to my face as I looked away from him. "You are willing to kiss random strangers but not me." His hand now held my jaw firmly forcing me to look at him. "He was so desperate for you Bobby," he spat, "a little slut."

"You have no right to say that," I barked back.

"Why are you protecting him? Were you that desperate to fuck that you didn't see how easy he was?" he looked at me with what seemed to be hatred.

"Leave me alone," I pushed on his chest but he barely budged. It was like he was a bag of cement.

"So you can run back to that nobody," he hissed. His grip on my neck tightened to the point it hurt. His fingers dug into the skin of my jaw that I was sure I was going to bruise, "you wanted a man who wasn't a sight huh? Well I'm right here Bobby, all for your taking."

All the blood rushed to my face as his lips brushed mine weakening my knees. I held onto his wrist trying to force his hand off me but nothing worked. "You're with her Benedito. This isn't right."

"With who?" he growled as he pulled away from me. My hands replaced his immediately massaging the sore skin.

"With Dita you crazy asshole!" I yelled as anger coursed through my veins.

He raised his eyebrow then laughed dryly, "you have it all wrong Bobby."

"Don't take me for a fool Dito, its obvious something is going on between you," I frowned.

He stalked towards me before pressing his index and middle finger to my forehead, "Você é estúpido? I'm gay Bobby get that through your thick skull." (Are you stupid?)

My mouth fell open and closed like a fish. "I don't understand," I shook my head.

Before he could answer me a black Rolls Royce pulled up next to us startling me. "Come on we are leaving," he roughly took my hand in his and pulled me to the car.

"I don't want to," I whined unintentionally.

"Bobby," he looked back at me with the same intensity from just a few seconds ago. Even though I would have loved to fight him I found myself willingly entering the back of the car. He followed and shut the door.

I had no idea if it was a good to trust him or not as I held my neck and jaw. He had always been so gentle to me that seeing him angry sparked fear in me. Not the fear that he would hurt me but the fear that I had the power to anger him so much that he found himself doing it without even noticing.
