I woke up the next day with a happy smile and excitement coursing through my veins. Even though it was not really my birthday, it truly felt like it was. At 5am I tried to hop out of bed with a happy cheer but Benedito wrapped his arm around me and pulled me down.
He threw his leg over my legs to keep me down, "where do you think you're going?"
"To take a shower so we can prepare for lunch!" I hollered with a happy laugh.
"You need to rest baby," he cooed and kissed my cheek, "we slept late last night."
My cheeks flushed as I turned around so I could look at his puffy face. His eyes were still closed but a small smile etched its way on his lips. As if feeling my stare he puckered his lips asking for a kiss. Who was I to deny the man of his right?
