Emma and Adeline spoke at the same time, cutting at Hunter. Claire was quietly chuckling as she felt sorry for Hunter, dealing with her friends’ blabbering was no easy task.

“--So, let me make it up to you, ladies, I hope you have a great time tomorrow… I suppose Claire can go in the morning and stay there until 6 pm?” Hunter said.

“Yeah! That would be perfect!!... But wait, what do you mean, make it up…?” Emma asked.

“Well, I won’t spill the surprise, now would I…?” Hunter said. He was slightly smirking, which made Claire’s heart fall out at once.

Not only that, Claire was very surprised, in a very good way, to know Hunter let her home even just for one day. It’s like an early birthday gift for her.
