CHAPTER 27

SPARK'S POV

Spark frowns as he uses skips trace method on finding the Adopter on his computer, Using various databases, public records, and online resources to track down the Adopter.

But it was taking him back to when she still married to John her Ex Husband in South Africa. He relaxes his back on the office chair. He's used all the method he's known.

Then suddenly it dawn on him that she wouldn't be using the same Surname, She divorced now. He started to go through any Lawyer article.

" This Woman is famous and a trained lawyer, So definitely she uses Social media more." He mutters to himself.

Spark immediately logs into his Twitter account, instagram account, it still resulted into nothing.

All of a sudden, He thinks of Facebook, Facebook is one of the oldest social platform out there.

He logs into his Facebook account, searches her name, he gets so many lawyers under the name. Spark breathes out deeply, Why is she so hard to find ?

He knows the answer to that, She's a lawyer and she has to be extra cautious and a famous one at that.

He keeps on scrolling down, then all of a sudden.

Spark sees her face, he's seen that face several times over the decades searching for her, He clicks on her profile picture

" There She is." He mutters loudly, and smiles deeply.

He transfer all the information, he gathers to his hard drive and on his Phone

Her location was there, Her phone number, the Email, her Court cases.

Everything was right there, staring him in the face.

Spark digs deeper if he could find the Girl she adopted, but nothing was there

"Smart woman." He murmurs, figuring out that the woman is very calculative.

Now He didn't kno how he can reach her, Spark figured out that if he make any appearance, The Adopter might relocate again, That's why he was looking for the daughter, to convince her.

Spark phone rings, He ignores it without looking, it still keeps on ringing,

He looks at the name, it's Dave, contemplating if he should pick up the Phone..

" Good day Mr Dave." Spark picks up the call eventually.

"Good day to you too." Dave replies " Any lead on the case?" Dave goes straight to the point.

Spark goes quiet, If he tells Spark the truth, He might want to charge the Adopter to court immediately and if he doesn't, it will make him look unfit for his Job.

"Mr Spark are you there?." Dave inquires,

" Am sorry about that, Fortunately for us I have gotten a lead on this case finally." Sparks breathes out as he speaks.

"I really don't understand, what do you mean?." Spark could tell Dave was almost smiling big.

" Yes Sir, I have finally found her, She's here in Nigeria." .Dave says also smiling on his accomplishment.

" What do you mean she's here In Nigeria." Dave is confused because the last time, Spark said she was in Canada.

" I know Mr Dave, I was extremely shocked when I found out too." Spark touched his bald head as he speaks. He could hear Dave telling his wife on the line that His daughter has been found. Spark could tell on the line that Mary is shocked as well by the way she shouted.

"Mr Dave, the thing here is this woman has kept the girl out of social media, So I would have to get to her first, before we can get to the daughter." Spark cuts them short.

"What do you mean, this woman is literally hiding this girl, She doesn't want the girl to be found ." Mary says as she takes the phone from Dave.

" I don't really think so, I have talked to, so many witnesses over the years and recently and they all still say same thing that the Adopter really loves the girl." Spark had to give them this information, so to give them an idea of how difficult this case could play out.

There was silence for abit, Spark thinks to himself ' What were they expecting, that the Adopter was going to be wicked it doesn't always play out like that.'

"Give us the address atleast, we would love to have a conversation with her." Dave chips in.

Spark breathes out , " I know how much you want to close this case, but I have to be the one to meet up with her first, I have to know if we would be taking the case to court or not."

Spark could tell Mary was about to blast him on the Phone, He hears Philip explaining "Honey, He has to go there first, You know how this woman disappears once we have a lead on her, He's doing this for our own sake."

Spark looks up at his ceiling , grateful that Mr Dave rescued him once again.

There's silence again,

Mary finally speaks "Okay let's us know how it plays out."

" I want you to look into one Rachel Nelson for me." Dave chips in immediately.

" Who is she if I may ask?." Spark ask as he writes the name on his note.

"She's My son's birth Mom." Dave tells him.

Spark eyes grows wide open , he didn't believe it ' What other secret are this family hiding.'

"Do you happen to know where she's lived or lives? who are Parents are? Anything that can make this case easier." Sparks ask as he hold his pen in his hands.

" Yes we do ." Mary answers, as they give Spark the details about Rachel Nelson.

"Okay I will look into this and I will give you update on the Adopter." He says as they end the call.

Spark collapses into the chair, He had to think Smart and fast. He looks into the Adopter again and finds out that she's doing so much for herself here in Nigeria, Precisely at Abuja, where she leave currently.

So that means this time, She can't just hop and leave like she does.

Spark takes his phone from the table quickly like his life depends on the case. He books his next flight to Abuja for nextweek.
