"So you have graduated with a degree of bachelors in management. Do you have any experience? Your resume doesn't shows any." He asked her even though he knew that both the male candidates had much higher qualifications then her but she any how managed to make way for herself which was unknown to him.

"No Mr. Addison." She quipped. Naade could hear her prayers as she prayed silently in her mind to her god to let her have this job. It amused him. If it was some other person than just a look on the resume and he would have send the person back without an interview but he couldn't seem to do so with her even though he seemed bias but he wanted that information for himself.

"So Ms. Patrick’s could you handle the pressure that comes along this job? Because if no then you have to decide it before signing the contract. Once it is signed then there’s no turning back." He told her beforehand and this time he assured himself that this assistant will have no chance to run away from him. Some where he felt thankful to his ex-assistants who ran away or left the job.

"Yes Mr. Addison. I am very sure about this employment. You don't have to worry about it." She promptly answered.

"Better." He muttered while calling Sherry to get the contract ready.

"So before you leave you sign the contract and from tomorrow you start working for me." He said seeing he smile widely at him. He could literally hear the happy song she was singing in her head. He any how controlled the twitching of his lips and saw her standing up to leave.

"Ms. Ellie Patrick’s it was nice meeting you. Hope you impress me with your working skills." He added seeing her cheeks tint a little in response.

Ellie POV:

It was really difficult to believe that I got the job here. This is one of the best days in life. Working here will help me pay of my education loan and even I can easily shoulder my day to day expenses without any hassle. Only god knows how many times I thanked him for this job. Somewhere I had lost the confidence when I saw him. I mean anyone would feel intimidated with him plus his extraordinary looks got me stuck at one point.

He looked extraordinary. His swift motion, his calculative eyes. I felt as if he could read me like an open book. Any ways I have to give this news to my friends. They would be so happy to know that I have been employed finally.

I quickly booked a taxi on Uber and through the whole ride I kept on thinking about him. Please don't get me wrong! I mean something about him was magnetic. No matter how many times I tried not to look in his eyes but my eyes would come back to meet his. It was embarrassing. May be I was too nervous.

Any ways I have too much work to sort out today. I have to decide on what am I going to wear to the first day of work and I even have to think about my footwear. God! I don't have proper shoes for tomorrow. I hope Anna could help me out. I would need to borrow from her for this week then I hope on this weekend to go to shopping.

I was excited and nervous both at the same time. I just hope I could sleep the night out. It wasn't long before I reached my 1bhk apartment. As soon as I rang the bell Sheena opened the door looking at me for any hint of happiness or sadness. I know that is trying to guess that whether I got the job or not. Brushing past her I sat on sofa where Anna and lily were sitting already. Stressfully I kept my file on the tea table and acted as if I am sad.

"Ellie look, it happens. You don't have to be so stressed. I am sure you will make it out." Sheena reasoned taking note of my acting as serious.

"Yes Ellie. We all are here for you. Don't worry. You will get better job than this." Anna stated rubbing my thighs.

"You know Anna that I won't get a job better than this." I replied getting up.

"It’s there loss that they lost such an efficient employee." Lily retorted while I got up from the sofa.

Rubbing my eyes for dramatic effect I asked

"Anna can you lend me one of you footwear? I have to join from tomorrow."

"Yeah! Sure but..." then her eyes widened and all of them jumped up happily.

"OH my god you made it. You are selected." Lily yelled while I nodded to her.

"We are so happy for you." Anna stated as she hugged me.

"You stupid girl you made us feel pathetic for you for a while." Sheena slapped my ass playfully making me yelp and then hugged me tightly.

"Congrats." She wished.

"Thanks."

I was very grateful for such friends who were more like sister or much better for me. They were my family. We always stood for each other no matter what. If one was sad then we all were sad because our hearts were linked.

"I love you all." I whispered hugging all of them tightly.
