Chapter 16

Lucy's pov

I frown running straight Laxus' room I hear him say "please stop" he looks like he's perspiring on the sheets and his whole body is soaked in sweat. This makes me feel so bad for him but, I'm kind of helpless though I don't know what to do in this situation. When he screams again I am suddenly jolted out back to the here and now. I rush to his bed side trying to shake him awake. His eyes suddenly shoot open and he flips me on my back. His arms find their way around my neck. My arms are trying to rip his off with mine. He is choking me which I wont allow to happen.

I start to see black spots while I start to lose consciousness then it all just stops in an instant. When he looks into my eyes and sees me he scrambles away from me. He says something that is so quiet it almost doesn't register with me. "Get out" is what it is but its so soft coming from him. I see his arm shakily moving as he points to the door . After me holding my ground for a minute after him saying that. He gets frustrated raking his hand through his hair which is something he does a lot when he's pissed off.

"I said" he starts calmly his chest going up and down. The next tone makes me jump so high I'm about to touch the sky. "GET OUT!" with that I realize how serious he is and I'm six feet under with him. I ran faster than I've ever moved in my entire life at that moment. I hear a yell and then a sound sounding like something shattering. There's screaming and panicking as everyone in the mansion tries to help him. He's in good hands I think when I go back to my now former bedroom. Taking one last look around I grab my duffel bag and start packing. Throwing in whatever I can grab that's in reach. Not even looking at what I put in there and whatever I can carry. First I have to write my letter of resignation to Laxus.

Dear Laxus,

I'm going to miss you dearly but it's for the best if I leave. You need to get your anger under control. With good reason too since you almost choked me to death, then I might consider coming back. Don't be too hard on yourself in the meantime.

The tears in my eyes are clouding my vision. I wipe them away from my eyes. I go to jump out the window. This is a little literally the only way I can avoid him. We're only 2 stories up anyway so I'm not going to die. Thankfully there is a big study tree to climb down. I've been doing this kind of thing ever since I was little. It's a part of most kids childhood growing up. Good thing I always prepare for the worst so I still got my apartment. I'm glad I kept it for these couple of months for exactly things like this that do sometimes occur. I don't know how it all came to this we were doing so good, at least I thought so. I look through the back window of the cab thats retreating fast but thank God I don't see Laxus or any of the friends I made there. Sure I didn't talk about them but they are important to me. Like Selena, Sabrina, Alice and Emma were so kind and welcoming to me When I first came. I'm going to miss those bitches.

Wow! That's a good fast turn at the bat for the worst and Lucy and lots of his relationship. sorry for all this sad stuff, happy chapters will come soon.

Where is Lucy going?

Who is Laxus telling stop to?

What happened back there with them?

Will they forgive each other and reconcile?

How will they fix what has been broken?

Why did Laxus do that to her?

When will they fix this?
