Shopping!

A phone rang while she's walking in the hallway upstairs. Celestine took her phone and saw that her mother was calling.

"Good morning, Mom!" Celestine greets, her voice was full of enthusiasm.

"Good morning, Sweetheart. How are you?"

"I'm fine here Mom, you don't have to worry." A sigh was heard from the other line. A couple of silences pass by before Amanda continues talking.

"Here's your father, he said he wants to talk to you."

"Good morning, my little kitten." Anthony's voice was filled with warmth as he greeted Celestine. "Good morning, Dad! I miss you!" Anthony chuckled, hearing his daughter's tone that looks like a child at that moment.

"I miss you too. You didn't even call last night." Celestine softly laughed after hearing her father's sulking voice.

"I'm sorry. By the way... Dad, did you forget something that you need to tell me?" Celestine raised her eyebrows.

She can't stop herself from smiling, thinking her father cracks his brain to remember something. Celestine reached her room, she opened the door and walked inside.

"Oh, I think there's one." A couple of minutes of silence passed.

"Ah-huh, So... What is it?" Celestine teasingly said, pulling the chair in front of the study table and sat there.

Anthony finally remembers his request from Kathline's father. “I asked your Uncle Marvin some favor, but I was so preoccupied that day that I forgot to tell you.”

“It’s alright Dad. I know you’re busy, and besides Kathline explained it to me.”

Celestine told her parents what happened last night. They took some time chit-chatting before ending the call.

The weather was nice as it is not too hot. The cool breeze was gently blowing the window curtains. Celestine was sitting near the window when someone called her.

“Lady Celestine?”

"Come in." Celestine softly said. She looks at the door, and Camille's smiling face welcomes her. The girl hesitated for a moment, then spoke.

"Sorry to interrupt you, Aunt Carmen wants to inform you that your snacks in the garden are ready."

Celestine closed the book and stood up. She nodded and smiled.

They headed downstairs and walked towards the garden. Camille left her and continued tending the plant. As for her, she goes back to her own business.

Enjoying the pleasant weather. She leisurely reads a book and enjoys a cup of tea. The tree behind her was swaying as the breeze of the cool air blew its branches and leaves. Even Celestine was sitting there and just reading a book, seeing her was like you were looking at a painting. A painting of a charming lady that gave you a definition of what simple and peaceful life meant.

A sudden shout broke the peaceful silence. "CELESTINE!!!" Kathline screamed her name and hurriedly walked towards her.

Celestine furrowed her eyebrows and looked at Kathline. "Why are you shouting?"

Kathline paused for a bit to catch her breath. "You seem in a hurry," Celestine commented.

Kathline breathed deeply first and turned to Celestine. Her eyes were shining with excitement and hope. "I would like to invite you to go shopping today. Can you accompany me? Pretty please?"

Celestine mentally thought, 'You're just at the mall yesterday to buy clothes, aren't you? And now, you want to shop again.'

Celestine sighed but didn't decline. She nods as a sign of agreement to her request. "I don't have any plans I can accompany you today." Kathline's face was filled with delight.

She hugged Celestine and giggled.

Celestine shakes her head as she looks at the table where the foods were served. "Let's eat for the meantime."

"Let’s have some fun today! I'll make sure you will enjoy this." Kathline said happily.

Not being used to this kind of environment, Celestine kept looking as she observed her surroundings. Everything seemed so beautiful and interesting.

Kathline pulled her into various shops. They buy and try on some clothes, bags, and shoes. It's been hours already, but they do not seem to run out of things to buy. As if all the things were interesting to Kathline. If something caught her attention, she would buy it immediately. Kathline was a jolly person. Aside from that, she is also approachable and friendly, and you will enjoy her company.

"Kath?"

"Hmm..." Kathline was busy looking at the different dresses in the store.

"Do you... do you have any friends?" Celestine asked her hesitantly.

"I do. But, she's kind of busy right now..." Kathline smiled at her. "Anyway, I will introduce you to her some other time," she added.

It seems that the pile of paper bags containing the dress, heels, and bag held by his two bodyguards is still not enough for her. They have only been following them ever since. Celestine thinks that Kathline's foot didn't hurt from walking and walking around the mall. Celestine took a deep breath. It was good that she chose to wear flat shoes.

I didn't know that shopping would be this tiring.

“Sir are you alright?” she asked the bodyguards. She even looked at their hands that were full of paper bags.

Looking at the worried face of the young lady, they smiled at her. “We’re trained for this and we’re used to it. You don’t have to worry, Miss.” he assured.

Celestine's face was calm on the outside, but the truth is, she feels worn out. He would rather have piles of homework than suffer in this way. Being a lady sometimes was tiring. Well, first of all, she’s not used to this. She feels that her energy was drained slowly.

Celestine approached Kathline who was now looking at the gown. Celestine didn't bother herself with things like that, her mother assigns someone to take care of it instead. She has only studied and spent her time on other things that may help her in the future.

"Is this good, Celestine?"

Celestine only saw this kind of dress in a magazine. And now, seeing this personally, it's kind of a feeling that she would not forget. Being able to roam around in this place is quite surreal for her.

"Celestine?" Kathline called her. Been in a daze for a moment, her brows creased when she looks at Kathline, questioningly "H-huh?"

"I'm asking you if this dress is beautiful? It looks like the wind blew your mind away and only your body left here." Kathline jokingly stated.

Celestine waved her hand, then shook her head. "Sorry, sorry! I just thought of something. Anyway... No need to ask me for that. Besides, all the things that you picked were stunningly beautiful."

Kathline frowned as she held the fabric of a red dress. "It's because I still can't choose what to wear later for the party." Kathline was complaining about it. "Party?" Celestine asked, but her attention was on the dresses.

Kathline remembers something. Her face was full of excitement as she looked at Celestine.
