Chapter 1- part 3
So, he just hears on it.
"Hey, do you have any girlfriend?"
"Gi-girlfriend?! What's up with that? Wait, why with all of sudden?"
The driver just laughed when he saw Hikari reaction. He says to Hikari that he can know the answer just when he heard that. Hikari keeps telling the driver that he didn't have one. But the driver didn't believe in it. The driver says to him that it was okay, to tell the truth and he says to Hikari that it was no need to be shy. He laughed then he tells Hikari the reason why did he asks that kind of question "Well, I just wanted to ask you this because I have seen you walked with 2 girls before. It looks like you were having fun with them. So that's why." Hikari just didn't believe it that there were actually have some of the people that were watching them at that time. Hikari thought that there will be no one who will ask them about it. But it just out of his expectation. Then Hikari says to the driver "Well, to be the truth. We are not friends nor lovers. We just met with each other and want to understand each other." The driver started to figure out about their relationship when he heard that.
"If you say it like that... Did you mean that the three of you are having a secret relationship? Don't worry, it's okay if you didn't want to-"
"No, Stop it right there. Don't make me reminded of something."
That driver was thinking that maybe it was their secret. So, he just stops talking about it. They were near the location that Hikari needs to go to. But the driver stopped at the park there and says to Hikari "Since you're new here. What about if you go and take a look around the city from here?" Hikari didn't think that they need to do something like that. But since they're already there, he just goes and takes a look around. The city was so quiet and there were only a few people were walking around there. Hikari was thinking that maybe because it was at night. He reminded me of the words that the driver just said. So, he opens his phone and going to send a message to Aimi. He was thinking that maybe it was too early, but he just does it. When Hikari was typing the message, Yami asks him "Hehe, did you miss her, Hikari?" Hikari just takes a breath and says to Yami that it was none of his problems. Hikari says to Aimi that he has arrived at the new place that he is going to live. He also tells Aimi that he was a bit excited about it. Aimi asks him "Hey, onii-chan. Just how dare you leave me alone here?" Then Hikari quickly replies to Aimi "Stop calling me Onii-chan. The people around me started to think a weird thing when they know that." Aimi declined it and said to Hikari "There was no way I could do that. But maybe I will stop calling you that one day." Hikari just thinking about how long will one day that Aimi mean will be. But he can make sure that it was not in a short time. However, he says to Aimi "You're not alone. From now and forever. There must be a people that will be with you." Just after Hikari sent that, he says to the driver that maybe they should go now. The driver was thinking that maybe they should stay there for a little longer, but he just follows what did Hikari says and go to the location.
Just when did Neu and Nimura arrives at the location on where they needed to live, Sabu-sama give them a key and told them to go to their room and take a rest for the next day. They agreed with it and went to their room. Sabu-sama just waits outside until Hikari arrives there because he needs to give the key to Hikari.
After Neu put all of his things in the room, he gets outside and going to buy some drinks because he was thirsty and there was nothing in that room. There was a vending machine there, so he just buys it from there.
He chooses the drink that he wants and pays for it. Then he just drinks it near there. He just started thinking "Can we win it? I mean, we never joined something like this before. Maybe we know how to draw. But we still didn't know how professional the outsider is." Neu walked to the entrance and going to take a look outside. But then he meets with his friend that he meets before at the train. He asks his friend "I thought that we're not going to meet here, you dumbass." His friend was so disappointed just when did he hear Neu called him that. He then asks Neu to follow him to somewhere else that he maybe would like. It sounds interesting so Neu just follows it.
Neu got bad feelings about it because if he reminded of their past, maybe there has something that happened between them in the past that Neu didn't like. But to think positively, maybe that was the past. So, no way something like that could happen. But when they walked outside, suddenly they meet with Hikari. Hikari saw that Neu was with someone. He didn't ask Neu anything about it. But he asks Neu "Just to where did you want to go in at this time? You should go and take a rest." Neu was agreed with what did Hikari just told him. But since his friend was there, it was hard for him to just reject the offer from his friend just like that, and it because they just reunited. Hikari didn't say anything about it and just go away.
Neu just continues following his friend to the location where did his friend wants to go meanwhile Hikari go to where did they need to live.
Hikari saw that Sabu-sama was waiting for him in front of the counter. Sabu-sama told him to take the key. So, he just takes it and going to the room that he needs to live. He saw that Sabu-sama was going outside. He quickly asks Sabu-sama "You are not going to take the day off?" Sabu-sama says to Hikari that he lives in another building. He says that it was because He just wanted to see how well the three of them worked together in this kind of situation. Hikari accepted it and went to his room.
It was his first time there, so he just lost himself when searching for his room. Then there was a person that guided him and showed him the way. He was so glad about help from that person. Just when did Hikari open the door, suddenly he heard Aimi's voice saying "Welcome, Onii-chan!" Hikari was so shocked when he heard that. But there was no one inside his room. He was just so weird about it. So, at that time, he quickly asks Yami "Hey, stop playing with my memory!" But Yami says that he didn't do that. It causes Hikari was so weird with it. He closes the door and locks it and says, "Don't tell me at here they have that kind of alarm!" Yami didn't think that so, he tells Hikari that must be something. But Hikari just stopped thinking about it and go to bed. He says to Yami "Just don't tell me that there was a curse from that call. Anyways, I'm going to look after it."
After a long walk with his friend, Neu and his friend finally arrives at where they wanted to go. But unfortunately, the store was closed. Neu looked at his friend and says, "Are you going to waste my time to rest with this kind of joke?" His friend just laughed and says "Oh, I forgot that this store should close at this time. Sorry, I just forgot about it!" Neu just looked at him and goes away. His friend just looked at him from afar and says "The heck with that face? Did he mad at me?" Just after Neu was disappeared from there, His friend quickly returns to his home.
On the next day, Sabu-sama told them to meet with him. So, they just make preparation and go there. Hikari still wondering about what did just happened yesterday. It was weird for him. Hikari didn't think that Aimi can talk with him using a voice of the heart. Because he didn't think that it existed. Maybe it would be logical if it depends on the situation that he and Yami are in. But that because Yami was living inside of Quantum memory that has been inserted within his mind. That's why Yami can talk with him through their thoughts. But Aimi was different from it. Maybe he and Yami have met with Aimi inside the quantum memory before. But They never meet with Aimi there before. Just when did Hikari was thinking about it, Yami says to him "Is it was a fated encounter. How if it was Aimi who was-" Hikari just say out loud that it was wrong and it causes Neu and Nimura to hear it. They ask Hikari if there was something happened. Hikari just blushed and says "I-It's nothing!" Then Yami just laughed at him.
When they arrive on the lower floor, they saw that Sabu-sama was waiting for them while talking with someone. They go to Sabu-sama and asks him "So, what should we do?" Sabu-sama saw that three of them were there. He says to the person that he just talked with that he needs to go, and he bought three of them somewhere.
They go to where did the event will hold on. Sabu-sama takes them there for them to look around. The people seem like they were preparing for the event. They were putting decorations at the place for the event. Hikari asks Sabu-sama "How long that we have until all of these get started?" Then Sabu-sama answered it "Maybe it will begin in 2 or 3 days more. But talking about this, you do not need to worry. All of the things that you need to use have been prepared. I will show it to you later. So, go and take a look around." They accepted it and they go walk around that place. They can see that it was not what did they expected. The stage at there is a stage that can be seen by the audience. It looks like it was not a small competition at all. They can see that maybe their rival was experienced in it. Hikari looked at Neu and Says, "You know, I'm glad that Akaru gives me a role to write the story." But Neu says to Hikari that he does not need to think that his job was easy.
Then both of them looked at Nimura and says, "You should be a help for us." Nimura didn't know what he should do. So, he just thinking that maybe he can become some help for them. But he says to them that it was as long as it was not too difficult for him to do it. Hikari and Neu agreed with it. Since it will be like that, maybe it was acceptable for them. But when Hikari looked at those two, it just called him back to Takuya and Syurihata. Both of them were together with him all the way. But Hikari just hoping that it won't be like that anymore. Hikari goes to them and says " Well, let's do our best in this kind of thing. Should I ask you that you are ready or not for it?" But they make a face at Hikari and say, "Maybe we should ask you that."
Hikari knows that they were actually worried about him because of the kind of things that had been happened. However, he didn't complain anything about it and just going to look after the competition.
