With creased brows, she kept thinking hard but what she was thinking about wasn't about the fact that he said he wasn't the one who set up this whole thing, neither was it because he said that he was shocked when he heard it and didn't expect her to come.
It was because of the other two statements he made. Those two statements were making her mind spin - they were confusing her so badly that right then she didn't know what to think again.
She didn't know if her definition of what John had for her was true anymore.
