7. I can smell her from a distance

I groaned rolling out of bed, although with slightly difficulty because of my aching joints. I stood up straight and stretched out my Joints and bones. I didn't slept a wink since I gave up on watching my mate's house well pass midnight.

My mate!.

It felt so nice saying that.

My mate. Piper Tripper.

I slammed open the door of my bathroom and staggered inside while rubbing the tiredness out of my eyes. The mirror had fogged over over the night, I reached for a wip and hastily swiped it across mirror to view my reflection.

A look alike stared back at me not looking less than perfect. My freaking pure white hair appeared to glow in the in the early rays of the morning sun. My green eyes stared back at me while the pupils were rimmed red with tiredness. I turned sideways to examine my jaw and the faint beard just growing out.

I proceeded to shave first, letting most hair fall on my chest since I was going to take a shower. When my face was bare and the only hair was the rough touch on my scalp I sigh in satisfaction. The redness of my pupils had now disappeared.

I always slept naked, getting into the shower was easy.

After a brief hot water shower. I got out and got dressed in my new human cloths courtesy of Prime. It amaze me how he had grown so much and even has so much knowledge about humans. He fits perfectly.

I skipped breakfast, because I didn't know how to make anything except coffee and got into my car. I'm an Alpha, I never learned how to cook, I was always training to stay strong and protect my pack.

After a smooth drive to school without any reversing issues I pulled up in the parking lot.

With my teaching plan under my left arm I approached the school, I was as early as possible.

I felt eyes immediately turn to me the moment I stepped inside the hallway. The Charlie effect!.

The hallway wasn't full yet but the attention of boys and girls alike were solely on me, young teenage girls gasped and dropped open their mouths, just like the young training wolves of my packs would.

The teenage boys stared in admiration, wishing they were me at that point. I wasn't new to this kind of look.

I went straight to the principal's office and she took me to the teacher's room to introduce me to the rest.

"Teachers and counselors I would like you to meet the new chemistry substitute teacher Mr Charlie Ramirez. He will replace Mr Daell for the time being" the young principle Lenny introduced me.

I stared at the teachers in the teacher's relaxation room with coffee machines and vending machines and a smile broke on my face, I needed a protein bar. I was starving.

My voice came out husky. Good morning all. I am pleased to be here to work with you all amazing teachers. Please be nice to me. I hope I'm welcome" I gave a short speech that had the ladies blushing because of the thickness of my voice.

"Welcome" they chimed randomly. A particular older lady was staring at me intensely from a mug caked between both of her palms. I immediately knew something wasn't right about her.

"Okay I'll get going" Principal Lenny shook my hand before leaving, her pencil heel making clicking sounds with the floor.

Now, I immediately approached the vending machine. How do you use this thing?.

"Do you need help?" The first lady teacher approached me, "I see you looking at it like it's math?. I'm Lisa by the way. I teach math."

"Nice to meet you Lisa" I said with a tight smile.

I'm an Alpha. I don't need help from a woman. I retraced my steps to leave the room.

"If you need help finding your way around I could help" She said.

I glanced at her and nodded before turning back around.

"Mr Charlie is it?" another female teacher approached me, "I'm Miss Rivera. I teach geography."

"And I'm Miss Gaby. I teach English. Glad to meet you."

"I'm Mrs Larry. I teach chemistry too, we're in the same department. Nice to make your acquaintance."

"I'm Mr James, the soccer coach"

"I'm Drew. I take Ap lit."

Everyone wants to introduce themselves to me, especially the 'Misses'

I eventually was able to squeeze myself out with the excuse of having a morning class. I have to see my mate.

The moment I stepped into the class my mate was supposed to be, I was hit with disappointment, she wasn't in class already. I couldn't smell her. My wolf was also disappointed.

The entire class went into a standing ovation as I made my way to the teacher's desk.

"Wuu!"

"You're so hot"

"Look at his skin"

"Damn!"

These humans never cease to amaze me.

"Thank you. Settle down everybody" I wasn't here for them, I was here for Piper.

"What's your name teacher?"

"Are you single teacher?"

"Why so hot?"

The girls began to catcall again.

I smiled politely, "Settle down please" I said using my Alpha tone of authority which worked. They all fell silent.

"I'm your substitute chemistry teacher for now. My name is Charlie Ramirez. Just call me Mr Charlie" I didn't want them saying my last name. It was Alpha honored.

"Mr Charlie!. Have any plans tonight?"

"I'm single and open to older guys"

I knew there was no way I could keep them all shut about cat calling and flirting with me. Even the wolves back home flirt with me but not too much, I was their Alpha and they had to respect that.

"I see your last teacher stopped at…" I began.

After five minutes of teaching, I brought out my phone to sent a quick text to Prime. I told him to leave everything he was going right away and go pick up my mate.

He texted back that he understood and I put my phone away again.

I taught them the chemistry, although I could sense that none of the girls were listening. Their eyes couldn't stop trailing over my body.

I can smell her, I can smell my mate. She's nearby. I can smell her fear and anxiety, I can smell that she was scared to come inside the class. But I could also smell that she was eager too, eager to do something, I don't know what that was.

I cleared my throat as she knocked and answered, "Come in."

"Someone is late for my first class" I tilted my head at the first close look I was having.

I was swept off my feet by her simple gorgeous untamed beauty. Her blue eyes were real and mesmerizing. She wore no makeup on her pale face and I would be glad if one day she wore it for me.

She stared at me equally taken away by my looks. Her eyes on me was different from everyone else because I felt something for her too.

"I'm Charlie" I said softly, watching her reaction.

She still stood frozen. It took so much effort not to run to her and hold her, take her in my grip and turn her face to me, kiss her till she taste like me.

I can't wait till she's 18 so I can claim and mark her. My mate.

"Close your mouth bitch. A freaking dirty fly like yourself is going to fly into it" One of the flirty girls yelled at my mate.

My mouth tightened in anger at her rudeness at my Luna but there wasn't anything I could do. She doesn't even know she's my mate yet.

"Take a seat Piper!" I said keeping my tone soft.

A few minutes before the end of my class, I heard three girls whispering. I heard wolf earring and it was easy for me to ear them.

I was immediately disgusted by their plan and the fact that it was centered on my mate.

Immediately after the bell rang, instead of walking out immediately, I waited to save my mate from their evil claws.
