Grayfia Arrived

Chapter 111 - Grayfia Arrived

With his back against the wall, Saji slumped to the ground and took nearly five minutes before struggling to get up.

"Saji, when you're done resting, come over and apologize," Sona snapped, clearly pissed off.

"Sorry," Saji muttered as he reluctantly walked up to Mahiro, bowing his head.

"For Sona's sake, I'll let it slide this time. But if there's a next time, you won't get off so easy," Mahiro said, giving him a quick glance before looking away. To him, Saji was just a Low-Class—not worth his time.

Saji clenched his fists in frustration but eventually stepped back behind Sona, hiding in the crowd.

"Sorry about that, you two. I didn't expect this mess. It's my fault for not keeping my servant in check," Sona apologized again.

"It's all good; it's not your fault, Sona. Just a bit of friction," Mahiro replied with a grin. He thought about making a cheeky comment like "Show me your chest when you apologize," but with so many people around, it wasn't the right time.

Plus, knowing Sona, saying that would probably screw up any good vibes she had toward him.

Mahiro continued, "Also, being high schoolers, it's normal to have some fire in you. If you don't, the future looks pretty dull. At least from your peerage, I see some promising traits."

His laid-back attitude made it clear he wasn't holding a grudge over the earlier incident.

"Thank you," Sona replied, giving Mahiro a look filled with both gratitude and something else. Her impression of him had definitely improved.

But Saji, hiding behind Sona, saw that look and felt a surge of jealousy. His eyes burned with anger, and he gritted his teeth. Sona had never looked at anyone like that before. He was damn sure he wouldn't let Mahiro get close to her.

Mahiro glanced at Saji with a hint of pity, recognizing those unrequited feelings. He knew Sona saw Saji only as a junior and a member of her peerage—nothing more.

Suddenly, a magic circle appeared in the room.

"Who's showing up now?" Sona's peerage members all turned their eyes to the glowing magic circle, curious.

Rias stayed calm, used to that familiar glow.

As the light faded, Grayfia's figure came into view.

Even in a maid outfit, Grayfia's noble presence and powerful aura—on par with any Satan—left Sona's peerage in awe.

"Good evening, everyone," Grayfia greeted politely.

Both Rias and Sona responded in kind.

"Mahiro-sama, it's almost game time. Are you ready?" Grayfia asked, meaning both physically and mentally.

"Yeah, ready whenever," Mahiro nodded.

Grayfia nodded back and summoned a magic circle. "Mahiro-sama, please step onto the circle."

Mahiro walked over.

"The match venue is a separate dimension modeled after Kuoh Academy. Your duel with Riser will happen there," Grayfia explained. "When you teleport in, you'll start from completely opposite positions."

"Got it," Mahiro nodded.

"Mahiro-kun, be careful," Rias said, clearly worried.

"Mahiro-kun, make sure you beat that arrogant jerk," Koneko said, clenching her fists.

"Mahiro-kun, you have to win," Akeno added with a smile, though concern was all over her face.

"Mahiro-san, good luck," Kiba chimed in.

"Will do," Mahiro replied calmly before the magic circle flashed, teleporting him into the other dimension.

"I'll be off as well. As the referee, I need to oversee the match," Grayfia said, giving a slight bow before stepping into the teleportation circle.

"Who was that maid just now? Her aura was off the charts."

"I couldn't even look her in the eye."

"Felt like she could crush me with just a glance."

After Grayfia left, Sona's peerage finally relaxed and started talking about her.

"She is the queen of His Majesty, Satan Lucifer—the strongest Queen in the Underworld," Sona answered their questions.

"The strongest Queen?"

"Satan Lucifer? That's awesome!"

"No wonder she had such a powerful aura!"

Seeing her peerage's reactions, Sona shook her head slightly and turned to Rias. "Rias, wanna join me in the student council room to watch the match? We've got all the equipment set up, and you'll see everything happening on the battlefield clearly."

"Sure, I'm in," Rias nodded. She wanted to see Mahiro's victory with her own eyes.

"Alright then, everyone come with me. The student council room has plenty of seats," Sona said, motioning for them to follow.

The group headed to the student council office.

Inside, the place had been rearranged to broadcast the rating game. Virtual screens popped up one after another, each showing different scenes from the separate dimension.

"What the hell is Mahiro doing?" Sona exclaimed in surprise as her eyes landed on the screen showing Mahiro.
