48 Ch. 48 Wake up call

I have a son.

An actual son.

With one of the women I love.

Still can't believe it.

Damn, to think it impacted me that much when I first held that little guy.

And to think I gave birth to a second Sirzechs. People were already comparing Kal's birth to his and saying he would be an extremely powerful devil in the future. It didn't help that the kid was born with his energy at Ultimate-class in quality, but that's our son for you.

Just born and already making me proud.

Now if he would just stop floating out of his crib. And burning things when he's upset.

Oh well, that just makes me prouder that he can already use his innate abilities, which I have discovered are nearly as potent as a true Sun divinity.

I compared it to Apollon and Amaterasu when both visited. The Greek likes to come by to enjoy our musical talents and is even a guest lecturer for the Healer Colleges, while Amaterasu came down to visit Sera and coo at our adorable bundle, with both giving little Kal their blessings seeing that he was so close to their divinities.

Honestly, so far the kids been blessed by like 6 gods. I guess even they can't resist my son's cuteness and future awesomeness. He does take after his two super parents after all.

It is really hard not to spoil him though, having to put my foot down on Sera's own spoiling is bad for my heart when the both of them somehow give me puppy dog eyes, but Sera just goes a bit overboard while Kal somehow already has his mother wrapped around his little fingers.

As well as quite a few of the women in the household now that I think about it. In various ways of course.

I've never seen Scáthach so enthusiastic about training someone, which she obviously can't do yet, but has been subtly trying to start teaching Kal runes by making them 'toys'. More baffling was when Kal actually mimicked some of the smaller rune's effects using devil magic, making Sera shower him in kisses for being a little genius. The most positive thing was that now Scáthach had a desire to see if she could birth a child with even better potential as a warrior, and to train him/her to surpass us. So the loads of hot and heavy sex with her certainly was very nice.

Diana did follow Scáthach's idea of birthing a 'powerful warrior and future Queen of Amazons'. With both women often double teaming me. She did find Kal quite cute and dubbed him one of the only males with the rights to enter Themyscira.

Musashi was incredibly dedicated to 'protect her lord's child and heir' by patrolling a lot and guarding little Kal. She basically screened anyone who wanted to enter and took a keen interest in the security systems in place, even if she couldn't understand most of it due to it being magic focused. It was kind of cute, like a big friendly dog being protective of a baby.

Medea and Da Vinci were more in the vain of 'studying' Kal. They thought his inborn strength and [Star] attributes were fascinating, but they did show a lot of care to make sure Kal wasn't getting sick, nothing wrong was happening due to his own power, no curses were placed on him or stuff like that. Plus Da Vinci was surprisingly good at handling children thanks to all the little inventions she had made. Kal's current favorite toy was an animatronic bird-like golem Da Vinci created which acted as a durable companion for my son who has no control over his own strength yet. Meanwhile Medea was very nervous when handling him, not knowing what to do when Kal cried, trying to pacify him with some weird potion, and scrambling about to stop him from putting weird ingredients in his mouth.

Jeanne and Mana were acting like caring big sisters, being very good babysitters as they had some experience with baby Moka as well. Jeanne was very tsun about it, but when she thought no one was looking she couldn't stop gushing over Kal's cuteness. Mana was the most normal as she calmly took care of him, admitting that she had done similar things while fulfilling contracts in the human world and having gotten used to it. It helped that they could keep him entertained by doing things like finger panting or playing some music.

Kal on the other hand, chose Ciri as one of his favorites mostly due to their similar hair and mildly due to her close resemblance to my aura. She found it a surprise, but she didn't mind taking care of him either. She likes to read him stories from both ours and her world.

As for my two Rooks, they had the most unique reaction I would say. Being incredibly protective of their new 'younger brother'. According to Tiamat, Milim was acting on dragon instincts, while Evangeline said that Moka was instinctively protective of him partially due to a shared bloodline with me. But Kal liked Milim's dragon form and features, while Moka's bats always made him giggle, so I saw no problems.

Even Enkidu joined in on taking care of Kal, my son quite liking him too. Reminds me of when Moka was a baby. My partner kept bringing animals for my son to 'meet' and could play with him using his chains too. That coupled with his calmness and natural aura, Enkidu was great at pacifying Kal in case he threw a tantrum, which wasn't often.

Unfortunately, with the mainly symbolic importance Kal possessed, the fact that Serafall's job often took her away from the Underworld and many not really understanding neither my character nor strength, someone decided to try something stupid.

-Back to the incident

"My lord!" A man shouted as he approached urgently and saluted as I stopped my training.

This man was Abezel, the Head Captain of the Guards within my domain.

He was a handsome man with short, blood red hair, crimson eyes, pointed ears, and a well trained body exuding discipline, strength, but also dedication. The most eye catching part of this man was not his almost Gremory-like looks, but his single red Angel wing on his back.

You see, before Abezel came under me, he was a staunch follower of the original Satan Beelzebub. The former seraph fell after somehow being convinced by the Satan, but unlike many others, his wings turned blood red due to his god-gifted ability: Might of God. This ability allowed him to channel a crimson energy which augments his strength, durability, and most importantly his momentum, turning him into a true juggernaut in battle. Unfortunately, after the fall of the Original Beelzebub, his son and descendants thought him a threat and betrayed him. He was even assumed dead, but managed to survive with only one of his wings, later joining me after hearing my deeds and seeing my lands.

And although he lost his ability to use 'Holy' after falling, his 'Light' still remains a fantastic tool to keep rowdy devils in line. He is also widely accepted by my people due to his impeccable service record and just heart.

It was strange for him to be so serious, but my guess was that someone i had felt them arrest tonight was responsible. Like I've said, I can subconsciously feel everything in my domain, but unless something grabs my attention it is essentially background noise to not overload my brain and give my people 'privacy'. But seeing as Abezel is here, I can see the arrests were not normal this time.

"What is it Abezel?" I asked seriously, causing him to hand me a report and stand back with a grim look.

I looked it over and as I read rage erupted from me, causing the Underworld itself to shake for a moment before I reigned in my power to not harm others.

"Is this true." I questioned severely as Abezel gasped from the pressure he was just under.

"Every word my lord! We had our best interrogators go through them, even went through their astral selves directly, and I questioned the information department directly regarding the legitimacy of this information and to berate them for failing to stop such a plot." My head captain replied with dead seriousness. "Someone ordered the kidnapping of Kal Azaroth."

"It would seem I have been too quiet and they have forgotten the might of Azaroth." I coldly said with a quiet rage seething within me as I gazed into the past and present.

A few moments I had a full grasp of the plot. It was never going to work. I hadn't known about the plot due to Zekram only involving two houses and him being extremely thorough over possible leaks or traceable information. The Lords actually couldn't send me any notice secretly because of it and they didn't have enough time to find a way around Zekram's eyes.

The ones they sent were an impressive force for any noble or even a group of them, sending 6 stealthy Ultimate-class devils trained for missions like this to infiltrate my castle and kidnap my son. But the fools didn't know that most of my servant staff has at least reached the threshold for Ultimate-class or is in it, while every member of my peerage has reached Satan-class beside Moka, Ciri and Milim. This isn't even counting on my castle's defenses being completely impossible to break or circumvent for anything short of Ophis and Great Red, or the Trimurti.

But that wasn't the problem. The problem was that someone, who greatly overestimates himself, dared to target my son.

"Tell Horuth to get the 1st through 4th Legions ready. Tonight the Underworld loses two of its noble Houses. I will be going to the mastermind directly." I ordered with a cold glint in my eyes. "Scáthach."

"Yes beloved?" My Queen said as she appeared by my side with concern in her eyes. "What happened?"

I had no doubts she was simply waiting for my explanation as to why I had shaken the Underworld even before I called for her, just like my peerage was about to appear alongside my highest ranking servants.

And to prove me right everyone started appearing one by one, wanting to ask what was happening, but all of them stopped themselves as they saw my frigid expression and felt my barely contained rage.

"Someone decided to try his luck in kidnapping Kal for his own ends. Of course they were nowhere near successful, but the fact of the matter is that they had the gall to try to take my son." I said those present causing them to immediately becoming angry as well.

Even Da Vinci's eyes turned cold, the least combative member of my peerage.

"Who?" Scáthach simply asked as she spoke for the peerage as my Queen.

"The Great King Faction, meaning Zekram. He used House Ipos and Gäap, while sending some of his secret forces to reinforce them." I answered directly.

It took a lot from my people to not burst out in rage like I had once they heard those annoyances had decided to step out of line.

"Our response?" She coldly asked.

"Take Jeanne, Moka, Milim, Medea and Mana with you. Exterminate Houses Ipos and Gäap. Strip the truly innocent of their memory and bloodline.

Diana, you and Musashi are to stay here with the rest to protect Kal and as a response team. Da Vinci, Tia, inform Sera and tell her Kal is safe and that I will handle everything. Make sure she does not join the fighting.

Medusa, you will be coming with me to Bael territory." I strictly ordered as each nodded.

I was enraged, but not a monster. Those responsible will die, those two houses will never rise again, but I will not make things unsalvageable and make things hard on Sera. I couldn't kill Zekram Bael because of this, but I was going to show him his place in the world. Something Sirzechs and Ajuka should have done a century ago.

The girls knew what to do and the more experienced ones will reign in the younger ones, so they all began to do their jobs.

"Why me master?" Medusa asked curiously.

"This will be good for your divinity of [Retribution]." I simply answered without turning as we followed me. "And if I don't focus on controlling myself, I will erase the Bael Clan in its entirety."

"Understood." The burgeoning goddess replied seriously.

'It is surprising that you are not blinded by your rage, but why such a reaction?' Enkidu asked from within me.

'My family is, and likely always will be, my reverse scale. Unless it is due to their own actions or it was an honorable battle which killed them, I will let those who target them feel my wrath. And even then, it might be too hard to hold back.' I answered as I opened a portal over Bael Castle.

'If need be I shall help you. It is my duty to chain the wrathful Heavens after all, and you shall become said Heavens soon enough.' My partner replied calmly.

'Thank you.' I simply thought as Medusa and I appeared over the Bael capital.

"Your orders master?" Medusa solemnly requested as she knelt in the air behind me.

She seemed to have changed her maid outfit to a more combat and stealth one. A short black, skintight dress with thigh-high black boots and black arm sleeves. She let her hair loose and summoned a unique pair of chained daggers.

In response, I passed her some information telepathically about her targets and the additional orders. Those being every single 'secret' and personal forces Zekram Bael had at his disposal. Not the ones the current Bael family Head had, due to not wanting the Bael Clan itself to crumble as it essentially held the dissenting voices amongst devils together. But I was going to give Zekram a wake up call in the form of a bloody spectacle.

Said forces might be skilled and rather strong in the Underworld, but not only is Medusa technically a goddess, she has also thoroughly been trained in 'secret maid arts' by Fia and in battle by Scáthach, as well as various other things by my top people and my peerage. She might not have true large scale destruction techniques beside maybe her eyes like the Gorgon, but she was infinitely deadlier as a fighter. She also knew of the darker side of things and was incredibly loyal and dedicated.

All I could say sometimes was that the path of Maids is incredibly deep.

"As you command master." She simply answered as he jewel-like eyes flashed for a moment and she disappeared quietly.

I would wait until she was done her task before joining Zekram in his usual brooding. I knew the man very well in all honestly, he was too 'important' to not know, so I knew that most evenings he would usually brood and ponder over things or plans as he drank some wine. It was his routine.

In the meantime, I was feeling Medusa's rapid progress as she effortlessly eliminated and petrified every target I had given her, while also keeping an eye on things back at home and the extermination of the two houses.

From what I felt, Sera had immediately returned home, completely blowing off the African god coalition to go take care of our son. She knew he was safe and that nothing had come even close to harming him, but we were overprotective parents. Nothing else had happened beside those there making sure she doesn't go and create an Ice Age anywhere.

As for those two house, well they never stood any form of chance in the first place. A sudden attack by tens of thousands of devils either in or bordering High-class at least, tens of Ultimate-classes and a few Satan-classes wasn't something anyone in the Underworld beside maybe Sirzechs and Ajuka could handle.

Too bad no one would know about this until the morning, because it was a massacre.

Every military force was annihilated or captured alongside their forts and cities. The Ipos and Gäap families were already being erased and basically pillaged. I could see Milim rather enjoying herself as this was the first time she's ever cut loose like this and Moka was feeling the full benefits her sacred gear could give her. Meanwhile Jeanne was being rather brutal towards the two houses as she mercilessly burnt through everything in her path, while Mana took care of those fleeing. And Scáthach had split the legions with Horuth as she expertly commanded them and the two swept through everything.

Medea's role in all this was mainly to 'process' the innocent.

I estimated it would take less than an hour for Houses Ipos and Gäap to be things of the past.

'Fools. Zekram should have an idea about our might from the information I let him gather, and yet he still believed I wouldn't retaliate violently at this scheme of his.

He probably thought I was just going to ruin a few houses like before. But he just couldn't figure out what it meant for even the lowered estimates I gave him to say Azaroth's military might could match the Underworld.' I thought as I felt everything moving to a crescendo of blood and death under my few words.

'It is what happens when one hides their strength after all. Those in power will test its limits until it overwhelms them when one truly unleashes it.' Enkidu said in his ever calm voice.

'Then I guess it's time for everyone to have a wake up call.' I neutrally replied.

'It is indeed necessary for a god or ruler to display his strength periodically. Too many forget the strength wielded by those in power when they are calm.' Enkidu said in agreement.

Soon enough Medusa returned and it was time to visit Zekram Bael for the first time in a long time.

'How inconsiderate. He doesn't even have a second chair.' I thought as the man just had the one chair near the fireplace, like no one else should sit next to him during his time here. 'Too bad I come prepared.'

I then proceeded to stealthily pull out my own better chair, take out some tea stuff to help me stay calm and not erase the elderly bastard from existence, sat down and let Medusa make the tea.

It didn't take too long thanks to her expertise and magic, so I took an appreciative sip before dropping the dimensional magic concealing us.

"You know Zekram Bael…" I opened up while taking a sip, causing the elder devil to immediately turn towards me in shock and surprise. "I never cared much for you."

"How did you get in?" The man asked evenly.

"I walked in. Just like I can walk in anywhere. Unlike those fools you and yours sent." I responded without much care for him as I continued to sip my tea and Medusa stood behind me with an expressionless face, but I could feel her happiness at my enjoyment of her rather excellent tea and coldness towards Zekram.

Meanwhile I could tell the man was trying to sneakily signal some people or find escape routes. He knew why I was here and if I was able to just come into his castle, set up my own chair and tea with my maid, then he was incredibly vulnerable in front of me, a 'Satan-class'.

"Medusa, please demonstrate why no one will be coming to help him." I simply said as I saw Bael's brain racing for a solution.

You can scheme all you want, but right now he is in front of someone stronger with none of his plans hindering that person in the least, while knowingly being weaker.

And he could only watch as my lovely maid took out one statue after another, all with varying expressions. Some were weary, others completely unaware, others sleeping, most were horrified, and some were even clutching missing limbs in pain.

Zekram was noticeably confused until he recognized the faces and Medusa's name clicked with the reveal of the statues.

"You dare attack House Bael's men." He coldly said as if it was a capital offense.

"No. I took out the associates of a self-important weakling mistaking himself as some kind of king after he attempted to kidnap my child. All of them." I responded with a satisfying smile as he didn't understand until I made a screen appear to show both the territories of Houses Gäap and Ipos.

It took the man a few seconds to realize why I was showing him scenes of a slaughter, burning buildings and an overwhelming army clad in black and purple.

"You disrespectful mongrel. You not only kill my men but also attacked two true noble houses!" The angered Zekram shouted. "I will make sure there is no place you can hide for your crimes. Even if you kill me now, my descendants will not let this go and you will be put down like the mad dog you are."

"*Sigh* This is why I stayed out of the petty scrabbles and nonsense of all the delusional fools in your faction, protecting my interests and only helping my wife even though I am friends with the other Satans. You all forgot one very important thing regarding our world: Might makes right." I replied before unleashing my wrathful aura in the completely sealed room, causing Zekram to not just become suppressed completely, but also physically damaged as [Space] began twisting him up.

I watched impassively as I carefully manipulated thing so my twisting and bending space wouldn't directly affect his body, just so his bones could nicely break with satisfying… *Snap* Snap Snap* *Snap x12* snaps.

"GAAAAHH!" Zekram Bael screamed in pain he likely hasn't experienced in centuries, if not Millenia, due to being long since 'retired'.

Medusa and I simply watched as I drank tea and she served it alongside some snacks, enjoying his drawn out torture as I broke his limbs over and over again before rewinding them and doing it again. I carefully infused [Time] into the wounds to make sure Phoenix Tears would do next to nothing unless he regularly bathed in them. I was going to cripple him for a century or two as payback for his little schemes and the attempted, even if it was pathetic attempt, kidnapping of my son.

By the time I had finished with the man, he had mangled and twisted limbs, intense bleeding, a twist in his heart, some ripped veins, fucked up devil power and near broken mind.

The last thing I did before removing the isolation barrier around the room was transfer a very clear message to him directly into his mind.

'Even talk with your bootlickers about touching my family and I will erase you and your faction from existence.' I sternly said before opening a portal with a noticeable energy signature to 'alert' the guards and leaving.

By the time I returned home, my armies were or their way back with my girls and I had to reassure Serafall even more while explaining what would happen soon because of my actions. The only thing she said in response was that Zekram was lucky he received my punishment and then the three of us snuggled for the rest of the night.

-End of Event

Of course most nobles weren't exactly pleased with my display, but i slapped the 'evidence' in their faces about both now extinct houses attempting to kidnap mine and Serafall's child for benefits with old Satan survivors and fallen angels, leaving the 'coincidentally' severely injured Zekram Bael out of this plot, causing them to quiet down rather quickly as this was 'Treason'. They directly shut up when they felt Sera about to murder them if they tried to defend those who wanted to take her child from her, especially when two very vocal idiots got ice spear castrations.

The nobles learnt two very, very important lessons after that: Don't involve House Azaroth and Serafall Leviathan's reverse scale is her child.

Of course Sirzechs didn't exactly approve of my actions, but this time I berated him that it was his job to make sure shit like this didn't happen in the first place and that if he put his foot down properly there wouldn't be nobles trying to kidnap the child of a Satan. Even Grayfia had to admit that, although extreme, my response sent an incredibly clear warning and punishment, thus making it incredibly unlikely that the Great King Faction would do anything for a long time.

Then Serafall backed me up with deadly glares as she was a mother on a warpath right now too, so seeing that although two houses were lost, but Azaroth forces easily made up for it anyway, matters would end there.

This event obviously wasn't only noticed by the Underworld, with it sending waves to both other factions.

-Grigori HQ, Azazel's Workshop.

"Hmmm~ Hmm~ Hmmmm~ Oh ho! So that's how that works. And this corresponds with my theories regarding healing Sacred Gears." The Governor General of the Fallen Angels happily muttered as he went through his newest acquisition.

He had been indulging himself in his hobby more and more as time passed, even dumping a lot of his work on his trusty vice-governor and not making any new harems to have more time for it

And right now he was enjoying a particularly rare sacred gear related to the 'legendary' fountain of youth.

That is until said Vice-Governor General came in, stunned him with some magic, cleaned him up and dragged him to his chair for a rather sudden meeting.

"Oww. Could have just said I had to come you know Shem." Lightly complained Azazel as he worked out all the kinks he got from being stunned and dragged.

"I did. Last week. On Wednesday. Yesterday. At Breakfast this morning. Then an hour ago." Was the deadpanned answer, causing Azazel to chuckle awkwardly.

"Right, got a bit caught up. So what's so important that I had to ignore you so much?" The shameless Fallen then asked.

Every Cadre was rather used to their leader's behavior, and even though they don't particularly like his excessive… eccentricity, no one doubt that he was the most fit to lead purely thanks to his strength, cunning and intelligence.

"*Sigh* There's been a few big events with the Devils recently that our agents confirmed." Shemhazai answered as he brought up images of the Great Fire of London.

"Has the war finally begun again? Is this their opening blow against Heaven?" Kokabiel excitedly asked.

"No… it would seem that some younger devils became a bit too… enthusiastic regarding the temporary increase in strength they received from last year and played around with some dangerous humans. As a result the majority of the London was at least partially burnt." Shemhazai replied, dousing the war fanatic with cold water.

"It did impact our businesses quite a bit in Europe, but the Devils already handed out compensations to everyone, so why mention it?" Asked Tamiel, the Head of the Business department.

"Oh I get it. The way Heaven let it go was a bit too easy and there might be something more afoot." Azazel answered for Shemhazai after looking through the data a bit.

"Indeed. There was also involvement from the reclusive Azaroth House to silence the complaints from the Devils and help out Satan Leviathan to pay everything." Shemhazai followed up as this was the more important news.

They all had heard about the elusive Satan-class devil Lith Azaroth, but few true movements are ever made outside his territory. The easiest pieces of information they have on him is basically given to everyone due to the festivals held whenever either his wife or himself gain new peerage members. Everything else is second-hand accounts at best and hard to believe most of the time.

What they do know is his impressive espionage and information gathering defenses, a more powerful army than nearly any other noble family, and he's incredibly rich. That was all information obtained by observing the flow of merchants but lack of leaked information, the house Azaroth merchandise and stores which are across the entirety of the Underworld, even somehow in their own territories, and the intimidating border defenses.

"Damn. This guy is smooth. Power play on other nobles while buttering up his wife, nice." An impressed Azazel said.

"Yes but that wasn't the only movements on their side." The Vice-Governor General said as he brought up some information from an older meeting. "As you all remember, Satan Leviathan has recently given birth to the heir of House Azaroth, and although unconfirmed, he is rumored to possibly be a second coming of Sirzechs Lucifer."

"*Whistle* Well damn. Another one." The smirking Governor-general commented.

"Is this a new threat?" The stoic Baraquiel asked.

"We don't believe so. Lith Azaroth has shown no indication of wanting anything to do with the Underworld beyond the prosperity of his lands and people. There are even stories about the beauty of his cities which sound fantastical even to me, so the chances of a powerful heir making him want more power are fairly low." Shemhazai answered systematically.

"Yeah, he's not the type. If anything, he's the reactive type I'd say. Unless someone pokes him too hard he won't bother much and give warnings." Azazel added as he carefully looked at what they knew about the devil.

"You don't know how right you are Azazel." Shemhazai said as he changed the display to the destroyed lands of Houses Ipos and Gäap, causing the rest of the Cadres eyes to widen.

"Well damn. Who pissed him off that much?" Azazel asked to make sure no one from their side did anything stupid like bringing the equivalent to a pissed off dragon king down on their head.

"From what we've gathered, Houses Ipos and Gäap attempted to kidnap Kal Azaroth to offer him to the Old Satans and well, us. Of course the latter is false, but the former has some plausibility. As a result, both houses were razed to the ground, their armies destroyed or captured, with their territories put under the direct rule of the Satans until a verdict is reached for the fate of these lands. Both Houses are now declared extinct." Shemhazai explained as many hissed at the thoroughness and ruthlessness needed to exterminate an entire line.

"Then this is our chance! They lost two full houses from a sneak attack! We should strike!" Kokabiel excitedly declared as he stood up.

"Be quiet you fool." Baraquiel scolded sternly. "If you had read the provided information, you would see that this wasn't just the element of surprise. With less than half his legions and only a few of his peerage members spotted, he thoroughly crushed two noble houses in about an hour. This means House Azaroth is more than enough to replace them."

Kokabiel could only grit his teeth and growl as the others silently supported Baraquiel's statement.

"Scary kid~ But I think Old Bael getting hurt is far more important." Azazel said after he finished reading all the information gathered.

"You don't mean…" Shemhazai began.

"That he was possibly the mastermind behind this 'kidnapping' and the Azaroth kid did not appreciate it, but knew his limits. Yes." Azazel finished more seriously than usual as this could mean a lot of things.

"So there is more instability amongst devils than previously thought?" Baraquiel asked for confirmation.

"From what we can tell, no." Answered Shemhazai. "This was a very brutal warning to not just the devils but also the rest of our pantheon: Do not touch. That's basically it. Don't mess with me and I don't mess with you."

"Well that makes things easy." A now carefree Azazel said as he stood up. "But see if we can contact him. I heard an interesting rumor about a certain red hawk and some nifty things being built over there."

"Red Hawk?" Shemhazai asked a bit at a lost.

"He couldn't mean… Abezel. He might be alive!" Baraquiel exclaimed as he thought his old comrade in arms had died a long time ago.

"That damn bull is still breathing?! I guess I might be able to have a nice battle after all." Kokabiel muttered as he too took his leave, essentially ending this quick, but important meeting at Grigori.

-Sixth Heaven, Heaven

Not only had the Fallen angels heard of the commotion in the Underworld, but it had reached the ears of the Great Seraph as well, triggering a meeting.

"Thank you brothers and sister for coming today." Michael said as kindly as ever towards his beloved family.

"Haha! It's fine brother! Always good to have us share a table, especially after it's become harder due to our adorable sister becoming busier." Uriel replied boisterously.

"I'm sorry for being so busy lately brother Uriel. I just want to help more people." The apologetic Gabriel said.

"I wasn't scolding you Gabriel. In fact, we are all very proud of what you've been doing so far." Uriel quickly said as Gabriel's watery eyes were one of his greatest weaknesses.

"The good work you've been doing to ready the testing for this new way to reproduce is very important to all of us, so we understand sister." Raphael followed up with a proud smile as he was the one helping her and her growth recently had been a great source of joy.

"Thank you brother." Gabriel replied with a happy smile.

"I pray for your success, but we are here for something else today." Gentle Micheal said before becoming more serious. "It would seem some internal conflict arose in the Underworld and the newest noble house of Azaroth destroyed Houses Ipos and Gäap."

"Azaroth?! Why would they do such a thing?" A rather surprised Gabriel asked as she knew Lith, Sera and many of their peerage members very well, and they wouldn't do such a thing lightly.

"It would seem that there was a plot, either by our fallen brothers and sisters or the children of the old Satans, to have these two houses kidnap the child of Satan Leviathan and the Lord Azaroth, angering the latter tremendously." Answered Micheal solemnly.

The Great Seraphs weren't exactly thrilled at anyone targeting an innocent infant, even if it was the child of devils, but what surprised them was the flashing power Gabriel emitted as her wings suddenly flashed between black and gold after hearing Michael's answer while she looked slightly down.

This caused the three brothers to panic slightly as Gabriel felt an emotion she had never felt before when hearing someone targeted the adorable Kal. Serafall and Lith had brought the little one to meet Gabriel before and she cared deeply for the child of her two closest friends, even having thoughts of herself being the test subject for the new reproduction methods Lith had brought because of him, and to hear someone wanted to harm him or take away the happy smiles of her friends made her… angry.

"Gabriel!" Michael shouted in the sternest voice Gabriel had ever heard him use, snapping the new archangel out of her anger.

"Ah! What the? *Gasp* I-I I'm sorry brothers but I think I need to calm myself. The thought of someone wanting to harm an innocent child as I work on helping Heaven have our own is too much." Gabriel hurriedly said, but it wasn't the entire truth.

After all, she reacted that way because she also had many thoughts of maybe… having her own child with Lith, and seeing her possible child in Kal being threatened made her angry. So she ran away to clear her head of 'impure thoughts', much to the bafflement and worries of her brothers, but her attempts only made her imagine more wonderful scenarios of Lith caring for her and their child like he does for Serafall.

So that day the most beautiful woman of Heaven learnt two feelings: Anger and Jealousy. But being the kind soul she truly was, those feelings were quickly replaced with worry for her friends and their child, happiness for their own and hope for her own possible happiness as she prayed.

The completely shocked male Seraphs left behind on the other end, finished their meeting in a bit of a hurry to go fuss over their sister who they had just witnessed experiencing her first true negative emotions.

Each had moments in the past were they could have fallen themselves, such has Lucifer's betrayal for Michael causing wrath, the many blood pumping battles Uriel had almost making him lust for blood and conflict, and the many lost lives as Raphael did his best to save them nearly making him despair. So they wanted to help their beloved sister who helped them through their dark times in her own time of need.

So in the end they basically agreed to keep a much closer eye on House Azaroth due to the clear power it held, but little else due to its negligent activities in the human world and the lack of ambition in devil society.

EXTRA AUTHOR NOTES:

Hello, Hello, I bring news from the other factions and Lith not being a total push over while also knowing the limits.

Alright, so before or probably after people call me out for Zekram not being that stupid here me out on my reasoning.

Zekram Bael is a manipulator and incredibly prideful. He knows how to use people to do his bidding and how to keep his own hands clean. So my thought is that their best bet at controlling both Serafall and Lith, with the rest of the Underworld having no idea it was actually him, was with the life of their child, even if they kill it and fake it. And with his current estimates, which he believed was completely accurate not knowing all information is faked by Lith and his 'plants', that six Ultimate-class stealth specialists would be able to sneak into the home of two Satan-classes while one was away.

He couldn't know everyone's true strength, cannot imagine the level of security Lith's lands and castle have as he is bound by his own common sense regarding the abilities of those sent and of devils, and sure as hell couldn't know that Lith's [Time] allowed him to look into the past to see the culprits, making the thorough precautions he did, which were impressive since they managed to make the attempt before Lith's plants informed him of it, useless.

So as a result of false/misinformation, and underestimating Lith, Zekram failed and got a harsh torture and crippling, while his co-conspirators were erased as Lith gives no shits about his 'plants'. This serves as a sort of last warning due to Lith already ruining two houses before, but bloodlessly. Now the next time they mess with him, they would cause a civil war they would have to win where it is very likely at least 3 Satan-class individuals would be against them (Lith, Sera and Scáthach since they don't know about the others).

It was a bit fun to have the usually bubbly Serafall put the fear of the Devil into the nobles with her anger as well.

Now then, I did this also because it can't be sunshine and rainbows amongst devils, and apparently it's almost common practice to try and kidnap the children of powerful people in DxD. But it was also to have the other Factions of the Christian pantheon take Lith more seriously, with the others likely taking note as well, but I'm not going to go through all the pantheons.

For the Fallen I believe Azazel would see through the situation pretty well from the facts that both destroyed houses were from Zekram's faction and he suddenly got injured after retaliation from Azaroth for an attempted Kidnapping of the sole heir. I also made Lith's Head Guard Captain a special fallen Angel I found while doing some research with the original name being Abezethibou, who did follow Beelzebub and had only one red wing, and he can be a good first real point of contact between Lith and Grigori as his position shows he isn't completely anti-Fallen.

As for Heaven's reaction, I thought it would be interesting to have Gabriel's first experience with negative emotions that way. She is essentially starting to realize that she sees Lith different than other 'men' as she actually only thought about him as a possible father for a child she kind of wants to have thanks to his 'new way' for angels and her being introduced to adorable baby Kal. Those negative feelings were just a passing thing due to her incredible kind and compassionate self.

The things about the three other Great Seraphs experiencing dark emotions were original, but based on possible reactions to things which occurred in their lives and during the war.

But overall, yeah, a wake up call for the Christian pantheon to neither mess with or underestimate House Azeroth. Not that it'll do them much Good considering they haven't shown much of their real strength.

Hope you enjoyed.
