Making A Deal

Victoria stared at Luke in shock, this man was the founder of Archman Group, that was insane.

He wasn't even thirty years, how could this be possible. she found it hard to believe at first but after Luke told her every detail about her organization and the current location of her comrades, she had to believe him.

Only Archman Group private military can archive this, not even the seven Super Countries could have such detailed information about them.

Right now they were sitting face to face but Victoria was still in shock so Luke just played with his phone, as he waited for her to come out of her shock.

After a good thirty minutes she pulled herself together, this was unbecoming of an assassin of her caliber.

Luke put the phone away and asked, " What kind of deal would you like to make?"

"Guessing about how you know our current location, it means you know what we are here to do.

So I will like to make a deal, I will convince my organization to stop the assassination attempt on your life whiles you spare their lives.

Nobody has to die for such a useless piece of trash, What do you say?"

Luke laughed out loudly like it was the biggest joke he had ever heard, Was she hearing herself.

"That was a good joke you got anymore to add. For your information I don't need you to convince your organization to stop anything, because tonight I'm planning to wipe you all out in a single stroke.

There's nothing you can negotiate with me Whisperer of death, I will end your organization today.

And I can absolutely assure you that non of my men will die in tonight's attack, If you want to make a deal with me, you have to bring something more tempting, avoiding unnecessary deaths doesn't seem tempting to me at all.

Victoria expected this outcome the moment she heard Luke reveal their current hide out, If he knew their location, they weren't the hunters, he was.

How laughable, she came here thinking she had all the cards to play, but she underestimated Archman Group, they thought they were being secretive but everything was clear to their target, they were clowning themselves.

She smiled in self mockery " Please, spare their lives. We might do bad things but we aren't bad people".

What she said sounded extremely funny coming from an assassin who kills people.

" Oh... so now there are good assassins mmhh, you are literally named the Whisperer of death. You have killed thousands of people and you dare have the cheek to tell m.... ,

"Wait, she's telling the truth."

" The mystics of death legion aren't bad people. The legion was founded three hundred years ago, to humans this can be considered a very long time.

Their only reason for existing, is to get rid of the "bad apples" in society, they kill corrupt politicians and business men who put their people through suffering, pain and unjust death.

They are the ultimate hammer of judgement to people who are untouchable by the law" said Lucy.

Luke was surprised and then a frown appeared on his face, " Though I didn't pay much attention, they've killed a lot of good politicians and business men"

Lucy was silent for a few seconds, during that seconds she was accessing the Eye of Artemis. This was an advanced satellite that has been around ever since the Archman Civilization arrived on earth a million years ago.

On it was stored the entire million years of this planet, which the human civilization had speculated their entire life, their entire evolution was recorded on the Eyes of Artemis.

The Eye of Artemis had it all and so it could record any crime or person for an entire life time, there was no hiding from it, for human it would take a forever to watch a person lifetime in days, but for Lucy she just needed seconds.

" Those you call innocent, weren't innocent at all. They were all rotten to the core. If you see the atrocities they committed you would kill them in more crueler ways".

Luke frown deepened, then why the hell do they want to kill me, he wasn't evil as far as he was concerned.

Victoria was preparing a whole lot of explanation about their organization, but before she could even say it Luke asked "Why do you guys want to kill me?".

Victoria was surprised by the question, after all he was ranting about, she expected him to look at her with disgust or call her a murderer who only kills for Money, pleasure or whatever evil things they do.

But right now, there was only curiosity and annoyance in his eyes which left a stunned expression on her beautiful face.

" You believe me?, but wait I haven't explained anything.

"Yes I do, now tell me why you want to assassinate me".

He could've asked Lucy but with Victoria sitting here, he knew Lucy would just ignore him.

" Last 4 months, you killed the son of the leader of the legion and threw his body in the sea"

When Luke heard this, his blood boiled with anger. The entire cafe became gloomy, and filled with killing intent.

Luke very well remember this incident since he led the operation himself. The son of that old bastard was a disgusting person.

He would draw suffering girls in regions filled with poverty and would entice them with sweet promises of bringing them to the big cities to make big money and help their families.

Upon taking them from their homes, he would drug them and sexually abuse them along with his men before killing them in many twisted ways.

Luke was only able to find out about this when traveling the country to appreciate nature.

He found the situation strange so asked Lucy to find out how well the girls are doing in the big cities using the Eyes of Artemis,which led to him knowing what atrocities where going on.

He tracked and gave that bastard a beating nearly killing him and dropped his body in the deep sea filled with sharks to feed on his flesh whiles he drowned still breathing.

A cruel death, Yes. But not a sad one.

He had never felt so powerless in his entire life, after all the power and advanced Technologies he had, he couldn't save them and maybe there are others going through the same thing.

" Very good, so you are here to take revenge for such a man" Luke said coldly.

Victoria could feel her blood freezing at that moment, she was the Whisperer of death and had fought top expect and seen a lot of blood but this aura completely overwhelmed her.

" No you are wrong, we are not here to take revenge. We are being forced to do this because of the loyalty we have for the leader.

This is why am here to make a deal, I don't think his son life is worth the 12 lives coming to die at your hands".

Luke breathed in and calmed himself down.

After Victoria saw Luke was calm, she prepared to make a final offer which she knew was the best she could do, it was one she believed Luke would not be able to resist and indeed she was right, she couldn't let those people die even at the cost of her life

"I want to exchange my life to you for the safety of my comrades, is it tempting enough?"
