Chapter 242 Two Vice Principals_1

Zhuangzi once professed:

The perfected man lacks self; the divine man has no achievements; the saint is nameless.

The Nameless is the origin of heaven and earth.

There is also a saying in Su Wen: The sage situates himself amidst the harmony of heaven and earth, follows the principles of the eight winds, indulges his desires modestly between worldly customs, without a heart filled with anger, acts without deviating from the world, dresses in a way that doesn't seek attention, neither exhausting his appearance with affairs nor suffering from ponderous thoughts. His duties lie in tranquility and joy and in self-contentment his achievement. Neither his body is worn out, nor his spirit scattered.

The meaning behind it is, a sage would comply with the divine and accommodate to mankind, his actions and preferences are no different from those of common people, he neither expresses anger nor impatience, he is at ease and content, leisurely and self-satisfied.
