Kiss Him

Unknowingly, the corners of my lips lifted to form a smile that I guess looks very ridiculous now.

I decided to stay silent until we arrived at my house.

"You wait here for a moment, Jo, I'm going to get a present for you first!"

Paijo smiled faintly, then nodded slowly. Then he sat quietly in the living room.

I ran to my room and looked for more the couple's jacket. Luckily at that time, I chose a fairly simple motif.

I put the jacket in a paper bag, and brought it down to meet Paijo.

"Here, happy birthday huh!" I said while giving the paper bag to Paijo.

Paijo accepted the paper bag, and smiled at me.

"Didn't when you ran away, you didn't bring anything, did you? So where did you buy this gift?" Paijo asked casually.

I immediately took a deep breath. Couldn't she just thank him and go home? He's got his present, hasn't he? Why did he bother asking where I bought the gift?"
