Indra's Messenger

Mount Meru, Trāyastriṃśa.

*Bang!*

"What did you say?" Indra shouted angrily.

"As I said, The Devil Council rejected our request to have James Alaverus extradited." Sun Wukong replied.

'Why wouldn't they you pompus moron?' Sun Wukong thought to himself. 'Your little pet attacked them as a member of a terrorist organization.'

"Are they looking for war with mount Meru?" Indra asked. "They don't have anyone who can compare to me in their ranks."

"They said James was a hero for protecting the Underworld from the attack of a terrorist group."

"How dare they defy me!" Indra shouted.

*Boom!*

As Indra's anger rose, the sky above is throne turned dark. Finally, when he could no longer control it, a bolt of lightning fell from the sky onto his throne, the power of which sent Sun Wukong flying back toward the entrance of the throne room.

'Damn it, Kid.' Sun Wukong thought as he righted himself before being flung into a wall. 'Did you have to piss off this man child like this?'

"Why would those fools from the Devil Council protect a half-devil even with the threat of war with the Hindu pantheon?" Indra thought aloud after he calmed himself.

While Indra was muttering to himself, Sun Wukong made his way back to his previous position.

"To answer your question, it would seem that many of the pure-blood supremacists that were formerly members of the Devil Council have been relieved of duty or sentenced to death." Sun Wukong said once he was back in position.

"Really?" Indra asked. "Damn it... And I'm sure that old fox Zekram Bael knew that the threat of war was impossible."

"It would seem that was the case." Sun Wukong replied.

Mount Kailash.

"Thank you for the information." Said a tall woman with unparallel beauty, jet-black hair, and red eyes in a gentle and loving tone. "Please, return to your post and keep us up to date on any new information."

"Yes Ma'am." An attendant said.

After that, the attendant bowed politely. Then, she left the room. Once she did, there were only two people left in the room. First, was the beautiful woman, and second was a handsome young boy, who appeared to be the age of a middle school student with shiny blue-black hair and sharp eyes that seemed to be bottomless n depth.

"Did you hear that, Shiva?" The beautiful woman asked, her tone changing completely once she was sure that the attendant was no longer close. "Indra's pawn was killed and the devils are ignoring him."

"*Chuckle* Yes Durga, I heard." Shiva said with a smile. "It would seem that our old foe is in quite the mood."

In fact, the only reason that Shiva and Durga were even meeting at the moment was because of the lightning that struck the peak of Mount Meru.

"What surprises me, however, is the fact that the Devil Council did not give in to Indra's demands." Shiva said.

"It just proves that that entitled fool isn't as Prestigeous as he thinks." Durga said uncaringly. "But I would love to recruit that boy... James, was it? Into our legions."

"Recruit or force to join?" Shiva asked with a relaxed smile.

"Is there a difference?" Durga asked with a manic smile. "Anyone who would kill one of Indra's toys with full knowledge that he was one should be under my command."

There is no secret among Shiva's legions, Durga, who commands his armies, does not have the respect of her troops. Instead, she leads by making all of her troops fear her extensively. However, this is also no surprise to anyone. She was created to combat the Asura King, Mahishasura, by the Devas and the Trimurti. Created to be a sociopathic, unempathetic warrior, nothing less would be expected.

"Are you sure about that?" Shiva asked, his smile growing wider. "He is the student of Scathach."

Hearing that, Durga paused momentarily. However, her smile returned shortly afterward.

"So, what if he is?" Durg asked. "That witch is bound to the Land of Shadows. What can she even do?"

"That is no longer the case." Shiva said. "Appareently, that young man was able to grant the Immortal Witch's greatest wish."

"Then why are you even bringing it up?" Durga asked. "With her dead, she's even less of a reason to hesitate in getting the boy into our legion."

"Because he's a devil." Shiva said. "An Ultimate-Class one, with a complete peerage."

"Would you stop beating around the bush." Durga said in annoyance.

"He resurrected her as his [Queen]." Shiva said with a chuckle. "So, forcing the boy would have an infuriated Scathach following him back to Mount Kailash."

With that, Durga began to grit her teeth.

"She's definitely a threat." Durga said through gritted teeth. "However, she would find it hard to kill me. But the havoc she could wrreak on the troops would be catastrophic."

"Exactly." Shiva said with a nod of his head. "So, you may want to put off, no, all together reconsider, forcing him into your armies."

"*Sigh* Fine..." Durga said with a bit of a pout, which made Shiva smile even wider.

Underworld, Bael Territory, Bael Castle.

Sitting in his study after the meeting with Indra's messenger, Zekram was smiling, or what he would call smiling, in amusement.

'To think, the corruption of the former members of the Devil Council was so wide spread that even that fool Indra knew of it.' Zekram thought as he took a sip of wine. 'I would not be surprised if those fools had dealings with Indra's faction that were not documented.'

While swirling the wine in his glass, Zekram began to recall the meeting with Indra's messenger from an hour ago.

===Flashback===

Underworld, Satan Territory, Capital City, Lilith.

About an hour ago, Zekram, the other members of the Devil Council, and three of the Four Great Satans, Sirzechs, Serafall, and Falbium were seated in the meeting hall in the Devil Council building. From up on their balcony, they met with Indra's messenger, who was standing on the lower floor.

"My lord, Heavenly King Indra, requests ttaht the man who killed the human he favors be handed over for execution." Indra's messenger said after all the pleasantries were taken care of.

"And who is this human you speak of?" Serafall asked while tilting her head cutely.

"His name was Cao Cao." The messenger stated.

"Are you referring to the Cao Cao that invaded the underworld?" Serafall asked, tilting her head to the other side.

The messenger frowned at Serafall's question.

"Or are you referring to the Cao Cao who was the leader of the Khaos Brigade's Hero Faction?" Serafall asked.

With that, the messenger's frown deepened.

"Oh, I forgot." Serafall said, pounding g the side of her right fist into her left palm. "Those two are the same person, teehee."

"Will you hand over the killer or not?" The messenger asked in a cold tone.

"Why would we hand over Jay-Kun?" Serafall asked, tilting her head once again.

"Because he killed the human that Heavenly King Indra favors." The messenger said without changing his tone.

"Are you saying that Indra is requesting extradition for someone who killed a terrorist?" Sirzechs asked?

"It would be in the Underworld's best interest to hand over the killer." The messenger said coldly.

"Why would we turn in Jay-Kun?" Serafall asked in mock confusion. "He is a hero of the Underworld for beating the bad guys."

"I would assume you are refusing the request for extradition?" The Messenger asked while staring at the members of the Devil Council, who had yet to speak.

From what he had been told, the Devil Council would be eager to get rid of talented half-breeds. As long as they agreed, James would have to either come along peacefully or go rogue. Either option would have been fine with Indra. Hunting down a Rogue devil of James' caliber would have even gained him a favor from the Devil Council, as insignificant as that would have been.

"We of the Devil Council agree with the Satans." Zekram said. "Why would be allow you to take the hero who protected our people from a terrorist attack."

"Even if the consequences of doing so would be war with the Hindu pantheon?" The messenger asked coldly.

With that, the atmosphere in the meeting hall grew thick. Both sides fell silent for a time, with Zekram and the messenger maintaining eye contact the entire time. Eventually, just as Sirzechs was about to speak, Zekram did so beforehand.

"Do you take me for a fool?" Zekram asked.

"I think those words are what I should be saying." The messenger replied.

"We have no reason to fear war with the Hindu pantheon." Zekram said in a sure tone.

"Are you willing to put that to the test?" The messenger asked while narrowing his eyes.

"There is no need." Zekram said. "Perhaps if Indra controlled the entire pantheon we might have need to fear. However, Shiva would never ally with Indra to take revenge for a bratty human terrorist."

Indra's messenger also knew that. So, he could do nothing other than grit his teeth.

"I hope you don't regret this." The messenger said, trying one last time to scare the devils as he turned and began walking toward the meeting hall's exit.

"There is no need to worry." Zekram said. "I trust you can find your way, for we shall not be seeing you out."

===Flashback End===

"And on the off-chance Indra does declare war on us, We would make a deal with Shiva." Zekram said before taking another sip of his wine. "Then Indra would be wipe from this world."

Underworld, Satan Territory, Capital City, Lilith.

"So, how did things go?" Ajuka asked as he took his seat in the Satans meeting room.

"As expected." Serafall said. "He threatened us with war."

"Just like I told James he would." Sirzechs said with a frown.

"And Old Zekram replied the same way Jay-Kun replied to you." Serafall said with a big smile.

In response, Sirzechs frown deepened, and he looked away.

"So, how did Indra's man take that?" Ajuka asked.

"*Yawn* He turned around and told us not to regret it." Falbium said. "Then, he left."

Ajuka continued to keep his attention on Falbium for a moment. However, the larger man did not continue.

"That's all?" Ajuka asked after Falbium did not continue.

"That's all." Falbium said.

"They didn't try to negotiate terms or declare war?" Ajuka asked.

"Nope." Serafall said, shaking her head vigorously. "But we knew he wouldn't declare war beforehand."

"That's true." Ajuka replied. "Going to war with us would be a perfect time for Shiva to invade Mount Meru."

"Exactly." Serafall said with an energetic nod.

"Well, now that Ajuka is up to speed, can we go home and get some sleep?" Falbium asked.

"*Sigh* If that's really it, then let's adjourn." Ajuka said, as he stood from his seat.

Human World, Japan, Kuoh.

Like he had been before, James was sitting in the living room reviewing pact applications. However, unlike the night before, tonight he was accompanied by Rias and Sona. Rias, like James, was still sifting through a pile of applications. However, Sona was able to find a suitable magician rather quickly.

"How the hell did you find someone so quickly?" Rias asked with envy in her tone while reading yet another application. "A girl with magic control issues. Why would you even accept her pact?"

"Because I've heard about her in the past." Sona replied while adjusting her glasses. "She's from a family that is considered royalty in the magician community. On top of that, the only person I've ever seen that works as hard as she does is James."

"There are other people that work that hard?" Rias asked with shock clear on her face.

"Yes." Sona replied. "Not everyone is as lazy as you are, Rias."

"James, Sona is bullying me." Rias said, dropping the stack of papers in her hands while jumping toward James, landing in his lap.

"Tch!" Sona clicked her tongue when she saw that.

"Is it bullying if she's telling the truth?" James asked. "Besides, I'm not even the hardest working person I know."

Rias pouted at the first thing James said. However, she was staring at him wide-eyed after what he said next.

"Who could possibly work harder than you do?" Rias asked.

"*Sigh* Sairaorg would be sad if he heard you, Rias." Sona said.

"Oh, yeah." Rias said while tapping a finger on her chin. "I guess he does work harder than James."

"That's only because I pursue other things as well." James said with a smile. "Anyway, what is this magician you chose' name, Sona?"

"Oh, her name is Noelle Silva, and she specializes in water magic." Sona replied. "I'll do my best to help her with her magic power control."

1/1

Don't get too excited Black Clover Fans, that's not a crossover I'm truly ready to make. I just thought that Noelle fit the bill for Sona's contract. She's got high magic power at the start of the series with almost no control. So, asking fora powerful devil to hlep her makes sense to me. I'm ignoring the fact that human magic is equation based just for thehell of it. She just can't regulate the magic power she flows into the magic circle.

Not that any of that matters. I really just used her name and that's alll. The chances that I'll write her into the story any further is low at best.

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoy.
