Trying to Control Part - 01

"It might be possible. There is no harm in trying." Minerva agreed to Shiro's suggestion and started manipulating several screen in front of her. Many graphs and reading could be seen appearing on the screen.

"Don't you need to prepare anything?" Shiro asked as he saw Minerva only operating some screens without summoning any physical instruments.

"Not really. Aurora has different sensors all over the ship. So in most cases there is hardly any need for extra equipment." Minerva said as she continued to operate the screens.

"I see." Shiro became quiet and let Minerva do her work.

"Got it. Shiro I am done with the analysis." After several minutes Minerva informed Shiro that she was done with her analysis of the readings taken by Aurora's sensors.

"Oh so soon? I thought it would take you some more time?" Shiro did not expect Minerva to be done with her analysis this early.

"It's not really that hard. Aurora is also a research vessel so it constantly keep collecting data from it's sensors and save them. Aurora is a ship which had many purposes and research is one of them as such it is loaded with a lots of sensors both for present uses and possible future uses. I just took the necessary data from past few hours and compared them." Minerva explained why it took her not that much time to finish her task.

"I see so that's why it took you so little time." Shiro nodded his head in understanding. "Then can you please tell me what you have found from the data?" Shiro asked Minerva to show him the results.

"Sure." Minerva waved her hand and several displays with graphs appeared in front of Shiro. "Please take a look at the graphs."

"Ok let me take a look. But what exactly are we looking for?" Shiro asked Minerva to explain.

"The display on the left shows the strange energy detected in the outer space. And we see similar energy signatures in the entire ship. The readings for that is shown in the middle display. And the right most display shows the readings from your room. At first it was normal. Same as any of the other areas of the ship. But right around the time you fell asleep the energy signature spiked sharply. And it still remains the same." Minerva explained what each graph contains and the differences between them.

"I see." Shiro looked at the graphs carefully. "There is indeed a spike in my rooms reading and it's showing no signs of going back to normal." Shiro compared each graph and saw that the energy readings in his room was staying at a constantly high level.

"So it confirms that what we are seeing is not some hallucination and indeed is some type of energy." Shiro looked at Minerva and asked for confirmation.

"Indeed it is. At least that's what the data says." Minerva agreed with Shiro. As there were very few chances of data gathered by this many sensors being wrong. One or two sensors could be said to have had some issues but not while all of them showed the same thing.

"And I am guessing it is not harmful to me."

"Why do you say that?" Asked Minerva hearing Shiro's comment about the unknown energies not being harmful to him.

"Well if it were harmful to me I would have suffered a long time ago. As they were entering my body since I have come to this universe." Shiro remembered what he heard from the girls. They told him some unknown energy was entering his body when they were coming to this universe or entered the universe. As such his body was modified to accept those energies as such he thought those energies had very little chances of harming him.

"I see there is certainly some basis to your reasoning. But I would still suggest for you to be careful." Minerva agreed to Shiro's reasoning, but still told him to be careful.

"I will." Shiro agreed to what Minerva said. "I think I will try to sleep again but please keep an eye on the readings." Shiro wanted to try to sleep again and asked Minerva to collect data while he sleeps.

"Then I will take my leave for now. Call me if you need anything." As soon as Minerva said this she disappeared.

"Then Rin Arturia lets try to control these things." Shiro suddenly suggested something unexpected.

"Are you being serious Shiro." Rin became surprised at what Shiro said.

"I am being serious. We have to understand what is happening to my body after all." Shiro really wanted to know what is happening so he decided to try to control these things.

"I understand so how are you going to do it?" Rin asked Shiro if he has any idea how he wanted to approach it.

"These things reacted to my movements and voice correct?" Shiro asked.

"That's right." Rin agreed with Shiro.

"Then I think they will approach me if I became calm and peaceful or emotionally stable something like that I guess." Shiro thought if he tried to be calm those particles will approach him.

"Are you sure? What if you can't control it?" Rin asked Shiro.

"Rin there is no harm in trying. Lets just try and watch what happens. And besides we are here to help Shiro." Arturia supported Shiro's thought process and was willing to give it a try.

"See even Arturia agrees with me." Shiro became more confident after getting Arturia's approval.

"Fine. Sigh." Rin did not continue what she was going to say and just sighed. "I know we just said that your body is compatible with the energies that entered your body. But you still should be careful. As we don't know what will happen if you actively try to absorb those energies." Rin still warned Shiro.

"That's a must. The safety of my body comes first. After all my parents worked so hard trying to cure me and protect me. I just can't go and destroy that now can I?" Shiro knew full well how hard it was for his parents to cure him and even if it was for them he should try to be safe and sound.

"It's great that you understand that." Rin became visibly relived knowing that Shiro had his priorities straight.

"Then shall we begin?" After getting both of the girls approval Shiro prepared himself to attract the particles towards him.
