"This took care of the data manipulation side now can you tell me what about the hardware part or the most important equipment the electromagnetic pulse grenades." After making the artificial intelligence made by Minerva infiltrate every equipment there was that could hamper Shiro's plan. It was the most crucial part that remained, that was the part where the electromagnetic pulse grenades comes into play.

"Yes as you have asked I have put electromagnetic pulse grenades in the blind spots of every craft even though it took some time. Even the rovers each have one near them." As Shiro asked Minerva to put electromagnetic pulse grenades near each craft she had accomplished it as he had asked her.

"But how did you manage to accomplish to put electromagnetic pulse grenades near the rovers. I can understand the orbiters as it is easy for us to do that since we are in space but the chance of getting caught by something while launching something from space is quite high isn't it?" As Shiro said it was quite easy to get caught if you drop something from space and if you drop multiple things the chances increased exponentially.

"Ah yes that was indeed a bit tricky. But I was able to do it somehow when the orbiters weren't in sight I managed to drop the grenades one by one near the rovers. Each grenade was encapsulated with a stealth mini rocket. The rovers are incapable of detecting those. And when those rockets were near them we temporarily jammed those rover's sensors. For your information it was so quick no one was able to notice the changes. For precautions sake all the decommissioned orbiters and rovers has one grenade near them as well." Minerva put the decommissioned orbiters and rovers in the scope of the plan. If by any chance Earth was able to enable one of them even for a bit it will put all their work to waste so it was better safe then sorry.

"I see that's a good idea we don't want any variables in the plan. At least we can try to minimize them as much as we can." Shiro talked while drinking orange juice from the sealed cup with a straw. As he was in zero gravity the only way to drink liquid was through a straw or some similar mechanism.

"That is so. But Shiro I have question." Minerva agreed to what Shiro said and inquired Shiro.

"Ask away." Shiro agreed to Minerva's question.

"I understand what you are trying to do but you know it is totally impossible to deceive everyone. EMP is just one of the effect of solar flare there are many more such auroras and the other things. Even if we exclude those there must be many optical telescopes which will observe and record imaging of that time. So what are you going to do about it." As Minerva said the plan that Shiro proposed was not foolproof actually it had many holes that could be found if someone was observant enough even a little. So the question was why did Shiro chose this instead of any other approach.

"That's a good question. Yes they will know it was not a solar flare. But the data will read it as such. But remember many times in science people found some data that were something but later on found out to be something else. We are not actually going for the solar flare here. What we are aiming for here is the confusion and chaos it will cause to the entire world. As they try to figure this out their attention will move from Mars. well even if they figure something out they won't be able to do or find anything about us on or around Mars. As they will lose all of their equipment here they won't have much ways but optical observation to observe Mars and hopefully we will be able to manipulate those data as well somewhat. This will give us the room we need to maneuver as we wish around here." Shiro explained the rationale behind his plan to Minerva. As he said what he wanted most at the moment was to move without being noticed by anyone. As there were too many eyes at the moment both known and unknown he just wanted to get rid of them all at once.

"I see so that's why you choose this method. If that is your reason I can somewhat agree that it will probably be effective but for how long it will be effective that is the question." After listening to Shiro Minerva agreed that Shiro's reasoning had some valid ground. And this method did indeed had many advantages for them. But how long they could hold that advantage that was the main question she wondered.
