Betrayal Part - 02

BAM!!! Door opens.

A blond man with blond hair and brown eyes entered the room. He has a sharp and handsome face. He has no fat in his body. He has a light smile on his face which seems like it'll never disappear no matter what happens. He is wearing a white lab coat over his casual clothes. He seems like a very easy to talk to type of person.

"Uncle Sam." Exclaimed Shiro.

The man who just entered his name is Samuel Lestrange a cousin of Misaki. He has quite a good relationship with Shiro's parents. He came here to help them.

"Hey kiddo, how are you doing?" Asked Sam.

"Better than usual uncle Sam. But what are you doing here?" Shiro.

"What, can't I even come to visit my nephew?" Sam.

"I didn't mean it like that and you know it uncle." Shiro.

"I know kid, I know, just messing with you a litle." Sam.

"See, I knew it." Shiro.

"Ha ha ha... have you guys told him yet?" Sam.

"Ahhh!! You mean how I'm going into a coma?" Shiro.

"That also..... And it seems you are taking it quite well, which is good I guess. You are a very strong kid for your age. I can't even imagine the pain you go through everyday, hopefully this time we will be able to help you get better." Sam.

"Sam can we not talk about it anymore we are making Shiro depressed." Misaki shouted at Sam.

"Ok sis just calm down alright. So you guys haven"t told him the whole thing huh. Oh well since we are all here, let's just tell him together as a family." Sam.

"Okay so here is the thing Shiro have you heard of the pathfinder project?" Hiroki.

" Hmm... I think I heard you mention it a few times. Isn't it the Mars and solar system colonization project of our company dad?" Shiro.

"Yeah you are right that's the one, but colonization isn't it's primary goal." Hiroki.

"So you are saying it;s primary goal is different than what is known to the public?" Shiro.

"Yup, and can you guess what it is?" Sam.

"Sam can we not beat around the bush, we have a lot to do you know!!" Misaki.

"OK OK, sis you know I was just trying to lighten up the mood." Sam.

"It's OK, let's continue. The primary objectives of this project or rather mission is to terraform Mars, which does comply with the objective our company is known for. But there is another objective which no one knows about which is to test the first warp drive we humans have built. Though we will do the final adjustment in Mars's orbit." Hiroki.

"Why Mars? Can't we just warp from here to mars then back?" Shiro.

"No no that's impossible, if the experiment fail we run the risk of damaging Earth. That's why we will do it around Mars. Our target is to warp from Mars to Europa, then if successful drop some driller bot to check Europa then warp back to Mars and start terraforming Mars. We are going to take the genetical data of all lifeforms and trees of Earth with us and apply them to Mars we have already modified most of them to adjust to Mars's environment and the rest will use a automatic process based on our research to help them adapt to Mars's environment. It's just that we will use the cryo system to travel to Mars, but yours will be a bit different than ours. We will sleep around a week if no accident happens. But you will be sleeping a bit longer." Hiroki.

"You know this technology is new and we can't use it for a long time, cause using it longer harms a human's body, otherwise we would have traveled with sleep pods all over the solar system. But yours is a bit different which your parents developed for you specifically, so remember this and no matter what you have to endure and survive ok kiddo?" Sam.

"Yes!! uncle, and mom dad thank you and I'm sorry for putting you through this and for being a burden." Shiro.

"What are you talking about honey? There is not a single parents in the world who would think of their child as a burden, except I guess some abnormal parents. So never ever say this ok?" Misaki.

"OK mom I won't and thanks." Shiro.

"Ok sleep for now. We will take all the anime and manga that has been released up until now with us so that when you wake up you will be able to read and watch them. Take rest we'll come take you within twenty four hours. We have to go so take some rest okey?" Misaki.

"Alright kid see you tomorrow, we still have to do the final adjustments." Sam.

"Shiro if you need anything just call us ok?" Hiroki.

"Honey just relax ok ? nothing will happen to you trust us." Misaki.

After bidding their goodbyes the whole family left leaving Shiro alone in the room.

"Sigh... alone again huh. I don't wanna die but I just don't wanna burden my parents any more. I just wanna live a normal happy life with my parents." Muttered Shiro.

"Why God why are you doing this to me, have I not suffered enough, have my parents not suffered enough, what did I do wrong? I tried to do charity with the money I MYSELF earned, I helped many people but why aren't you helping me and my parents, why are you making us suffer so much. I really hope this works." Shiro started to cry silently while muttering all these. He started to fall asleep while crying.

"Hey Shiro wake up, honey wake up." Misaki.

"Ughh... who is it oh mom what are you doing? Is it already time for me to go?" Shiro woke up to his mother's calling.

"That's right. But why are your eyes red? Were you crying? Please have some faith in us ok. You will be fine." Misaki.

"I know mom, don't worry, I probably rubbed my eyes in sleep." Shiro.

"Don't lie to me, mothers can tell remember that. I won't ask anything else since you don't wanna talk. Now let's get you prepared for the trip." Misaki.

"OK" Shiro.

"Come in guys." Misaki.

Two nurses comes in with a stretcher to take Shiro. They put Shiro on the Bed and started to move.

"Mom where are we going?" Shiro.

"We are going to your dad and my private lab, where you will be put into a pod in which you will sleep for two years maximum. We will then take the pod into the ship and leave Earth. Unfortunately we can't let you see the beautiful scenery of the outer space, as your weak body will not be able to withstand the launch procedures. That's why you will be in the pod before the launch, but don't worry when you wake up you will definitely be able to see many many more beautiful sceneries of space, heck you may even be able to run around in a space suit near Mars. So don't get dejected." Misaki smiled brightly towards his son.

"Um, thanks Mom." Shiro.

"Don't thank me yet thank me when we can all run around in space together. Got it? Misaki.

"Umm." Shiro.

"Oh here we are, we've arrived. Prepare yourself honey and relax there is no need to be tensed, just relax." Said Misaki when they arrived in front of Shiro's parents lab.
