Chapter 10

"Who are you? You're pretty brave to separate me from my carrier," a woman's voice echoed in my mind.

(A/N: Ddraig here is a female because why not.)

"No hard feelings, Issei. This Gear is something that would increase my fighting power by a lot. And you are just going to waste it with your perversion and boob talk," I said to the sleeping Issei.

Without answering Ddraig, I immediately left Issei's house and headed back to my own place.

"Hey, answer me!" Ddraig's voice insisted.

"Calm down," I said internally, trying to soothe the dragon's agitation. "I had my reasons."

"You better have a good explanation for this," she retorted.

"I don't have a good explanation. I just need your ability to double my power," I admitted.

"So you stole me for your own gain?" she snapped.

"I prefer to think of it as a necessary acquisition," I replied calmly. "The power you offer is too significant to be wasted. With me, you'll be used to your full potential."

"You think you're worthy of wielding me?" Ddraig's voice was full of skepticism.

"I know I am," I said confidently. "And soon, you will too."

There was a moment of silence before Ddraig spoke again, her tone slightly more curious. "What makes you so sure?"

"Because I will be the Strongest Red Dragon Emperor ever."

Of course, meanwhile, Ddraig was looking at my memories, and of course I was aware of that, but I didn't care.

"Why you need me?"

"In the future I will have to fight many powerful enemies. Also, To fight White Dragon Emperor, if you continued to be with the human, you would probably only be equal to the white dragon after training for a very long time."

"You're right. Also you are very interesting. And you seems to a different energy system that is currently locked inside you. And this system looks pretty interesting too. Well, I accept you as my new carrier."

"I have to check that system."

"I really got stronger. And I still want to get stronger."

"You've already got [Balance Breaker], it looks like you're really going to keep your word."

"Of course. If I make a promise, I keep it."

*Ding Dong

When I heard the knock on the door, I immediately went downstairs and checked who was coming from the intercom. And the person who came was Sona.

"Welcome sis. Come in."

"Hello Al. I just came here to see the room Rias give you." Sona came in with a package in her hand. Sona looked really pretty with a blue outfit on and jeans short.

Sexy.

"Sona, you look so beautiful."

"O-Oh T-Thanks."

I took Sona into the living room.

"So Sona, what are you doing here at this hour? Of course you can stay as long as you want."

"I-I just b-brought you a housewarming present." Sona said and held out the package she was holding.

Hahahahahahah... Thank you." I took the package and put it on the table.

Then I went to the kitchen, which was on the lower floor, took some cake from the fridge, put it on a plate, and went back to the living room.

Sona loves cake.

Munch munch

Sona began to eat the cake using a fork, putting each bite into her mouth with an air of elegance that seemed slightly exaggerated.

*Chuckle*

"What are you looking at?" Sona said while eating.

"Nothing, it's just you look so cute," I said as I wiped the cream from her lips.

"Eeehh? Who is cute? I'm not cute at all!" Sona denied, blushing.

"Pfffftttt... Hahahahahahaha..."

"Don't laugh!" Suddenly, Sona threw a small cushion from the sofa at me.

And that's how we spent some time.

"So, how was your first day at class? Did you like it?" she asked, her tone shifting to one of genuine curiosity.

I leaned back, thinking for a moment. "It was... interesting. Different from what I'm used to, but in a good way. The students here are quite lively."

Sona smiled, her eyes softening. "That's good to hear. I was a bit worried you might find it boring."

"Oh, It was boring," I confirm her.

"But It's a nice change of pace. And the company is pretty great too."

She blushed again, looking down at her cake. "I'm glad you think so."

After sometime.

"I have to go now." Sona said.

"Why? There is a king size bed here, you can stay here." I said with a smile.

Sona once again blushed after hearing that.

"There's school tomorrow and I didn't bring my clothes, I'll stay another time." Sona said while her cheeks reddening.

"Oh, you will stay, if there is no school, that a bold statement Sona."

"Stop teasing me, Al. I will be going then."
