Chapter 90 Unexpected discovery

Catherine was dumbfounded she looked stunned staring at the fallen house of the Alexandrias unable to believe such a beautiful legacy was gone, Lamia would be devastated his family wiped out suddenly. Even the death of Mina crushed her with ways beyond imagination because if not for her sacrifice she would have been lieing dead but instead of her Mina was lieing dead on her behalf.

Cathy suddenly felt the change of weather, a cold chilling temperature passed through her skin making her to flinch looking up she saw Damian eyes looking pure red as blood his skin emiting this dark smoke and as one of his eyes was red she noticed the other was pure black like an abyss of darkness.

Oh noo Damian was about to loose himself to darkness she can't let that happen, " Damian please come back I know Lamia maybe gone, Mina too is dead but I am here please don't loose yourself we will find Lamia as we have done previously nothing has happened to him."

Damian didn't respond his aura kept on darkening and things around him faded in oblivion as his feet destroyed the things around him. Cathy was dismayed his powers are now coming in full force she can't let him destroy everything.

" Damian listen to me what do you think Lamia would say seeing you like this he will be traumatized and agonized over your transformation please listen we may not be close but I am here for you."

For a moment Damian stopped, the little destruction he has caused was baffling how can he destroy so much in a little amount of time.

The flowers, vegetations around and ground all crumbled to the mercy of Damian Powers and thinking she has gotten to him Cathy heaved a sigh of relief but Damian yelled.

" This is all your fault Catherine you are the cause of it all my relationship with Lamia only began crumbling down with your arrival, you're trying to snatch Lamia from me isn't it answer me you piece of shit."

Cathy looked at Damian in horror how could he say something so dispicable she wasn't trying anything she just fell in love with Lamia but unfortunately Damian has Lamia heart and she was just a side character, someone interfering in their lives and it crushed her the more with the realization.

" Damian this isn't you I know you won't say something so stupid so I forgive you so snap out of it and let us go and find Lamia."

Damian began chuckling, giggling continuously, " Gosh Cathy you don't know I think it's better if you were dead why did Mina have to die and leave such a burden like you behind do you know what I wished you were dead and if you for once do die I will celebrate that day bitch."

Catherine by then has started crying was this how Damian really feels about her she was just a normal teenager In love now it was used against her, Cathy hasn't recovered from the insult when a blazing fire was fired directly at her and she dodged breathing erratically, she couldn't believe she almost died.

Damian stood before her smiling sadonicaly, " Finally I will get rid of you bitch." And then Damian hands glowed as deadly blood light began swirling around her fingers and he pointed before Cathy but a voice joilted him up.

" Dammy, Damian where are you guys, Cathy Cathy...

Catherine frozed for a second that was Lamia voice how she then rose up and rush outside with Damian whose eyes has returned back to its normal colour.

Damian on seeing Lamia almost cried, he was beyond happy he then ran to him hugging him so madly.

" Alexis goodness you're alright I almost ran mad because I thought something bad happened to you ." Lamia smiled and faced Cathy who smiled back but it didn't reach her eyes the stuff Damian said hunted her so bad maybe she was just greedy and selfish and wanted Lamia when it was impossible.

" Lamia I am glad you're back but who wounded your delicate skin like this tell us."

Lamia began crying and he fell on Damian embrace, " it was horrible Damian I almost died, I was tortured with ways beyond human comprehension I thought I wouldn't see you guys again."

Cathy looked at him with such affection that it hurt but something wasn't right what was that, she could see a scar from his forehead and she was pretty sure Lamia face was spotless but they wasn't possible no maybe she was thinking too much and she was just seeing things.

" Lamia I want to tell you something I feel like I am interfering with you guys relationship so tomorrow morning I am leaving I am thankful for your love and support but you guys don't need me anymore."

Damian looked at Cathy with look of confusion, " Cathy what happened why the sudden announcement Lamia just came back."

Cathy nodded, " yes Lamia just came back but I clearly remembered someone telling me my place isn't here so I get it I am no longer welcomed so tomorrow I am leaving."

Lamia came and hugged Cathy , his long red hair covering half of Cathy face. Catherine smiled as she embraced him but realized something hugging Lamia felt different, she was pretty sure she has hugged him countless times but why the sudden change, also wasn't Lamia giving this flower scent so why the change she was sure she couldn't feel any scent coming from him so what happened.

Catherine and Lamia disengaged From each other but Lamia words made confused.

" I know you feel you don't belong here but know this you always have my heart cathy so I beg you not to go." Cathy was speechless this was the Lamia she knew but why does his body language felt off.

" Come on Lamia let's get you cleaned up I have something to tell you about your family." Damian led Lamia away but one thing Lamia didn't see and noticed was that his family house has collapsed.

When Lamia was about to enter Damian's car Cathy stopped him, " you didn't answer my question earlier Lamia who did this to you."

Lamia eyes twitched before answering, " it was Peter Lockwood he kidnapped me.".

Damian stopped and dread began to fill his skin Peter Lockwood how was that possible oh noooo it couldn't be that he knew where he was but Cathy on the other hand felt it was weird and more baffling was that Damian who was supposed to notice all this didn't even realize something was wrong with Lamia or was she just hallucinating no it can't be.

Cathy looked at everything where will they go now and what about Mina.

" Damian what are we going to do where do we go from here and what about Mina body shouldn't she receive a proper burial she was close to us remember and it's the least we can do for her."

Damian feeling overwhelmed stood before Catherine and looking back at the car he was sure Lamia was laying down he cupped her chin and spoke harshly.

" Mina is nothing to you and you don't get to decide that how I wished you were the one that died earlier so the better you realize you're nothing the easier it would be for us all and you can quietly leave and I will tell Lamia you couldn't cope so you decided to leave."

Cathy mouth hung open was this how much he hated her what happened wasn't he cool with her what brought such an accusation. Now she realized they was nothing let for her and the reason for her staying wasn't it for Lamia so Damian has no right to push her away.

" I know you're desperate to pursue me but you do realize I follow Lamia wish not yours and if Lamia wants me gone it gonna come straight from him not you jerk and just know this Damian they is no difference between you and Abigail because this was how Abigail started wasn't it."

Damian eyes darkened, " How dare you compare me with that low life."

Catherine began smiling, " you know the low life you called is far better than you I don't know why my life is just entangled with lots of hypocrites like you first you pretend to be nice and now you feel threatened because Lamia is close to me so get this in your skull Damian Lamia is far off better without you."

" And you know in the past Lamia issues began when you ventured to his life you're nothing but trouble magnet and don't you think fate doesn't want you both together so stop this drama Damian and get your shit together." Catherine vented in rage.

Damian eyes softened and he was about to open the door of his car when a black Mercedes Benz pulled over in front of them and this woke Lamia up .

A man in suit and dark sunglasses came out in dashing style and he opened the car and Catherine gasped at the sight before her was a man looking so wretched and sick his body wrinkled and with a closer look he resembles a 150 years old man.

Damian looked at the corpse like man that's laying in chair of the car he couldn't move so he gave them sign to come closer.

Lamia also came out of the car and this didn't sit well with Damian, " Lamia please you need rest go inside you don't need to hear this."

Lamia smiled and pecked Damian on his cheeks, " No worries love I am all hear I didn't hurt my ear ."

The man finally faced them his voice barely audible, " Oh my Damian how you have grown but just so you will know The black dragons are planing to go with the ritual of the moon ."

Damian eyes bulged now he remembers where he knew the man from he was Dante Gonzalez the vile man who experimented on him but he was supposed to be dead why was he alive and why was he looking like a corpse.

The man knew Damian was curious but why won't he, firstly he was supposed to be dead and secondly he was looking like a corpse so a person with normal senses would freak out seeing him he was nothing but a walking corpse.

" You wanna know why I am alive Damian it's the potion I and doctor T experimented on , it was supposed to make you live longer and with the use of magic perhaps shield you from any life threatening harm that may kill you but you ruined it all yes you can hear me when you killed me it seems your dreadful magic did something to me and that time I had consumed the potion already so it brought me back to life looking like this and I can't harm myself."

" Killing myself is not an issue because the potion prevents it now look at me I look like a fucking corpse."

Damian was unfazed to him he deserves every suffering for what he passed through several years ago in their hands he will surely suffer wishing for death but it won't be granted to him.

Lamia was horrified the suffering the man must be passing through must be excruciatingly painful but come to think of it he brought it upon himself.

" Dante I just don't get it why come here to warn me about some moon ritual didn't Peter Lockwood betray you so what is the catch." Damian probed but Dante began cackling one that made his face to look more horrifying than it was his hollow eyes and cheeks dangling dangerously.

" Haa so you think I am benefiting from this but let me tell you all in advance The black dragon are planning a massive ritual yes one that would break the barrier you created 500 years ago and release Asmodues the Lord of darkness the devil himself."

" And not only that to have that much power they is gonna be a massacre and know where that massacre is coming from so with that much power the black dragon would be unstoppable and you Damian I am afraid won't be able to stop him this time."

Catherine shuddered at the thought of them her mind began racing, " oh no the sacrificial place was Ivory high all those students will be killed."

" Yes you're right the black dragons are users of ancestral magic manly from hell and that's where they are drawing their powers from and sacrifice that huge will make them invisible and immortal but you all have an advantage I know of how Damian can defeat the Black dragons once and for all you have to use the last power of the tourch of light it would destroy them all cause it's the only weapon capable of destroying gods, demigods and mortals so locate it and Damian don't loose yourself because I can see darkness overtaking you."

Damian stood rooted on the spot he has no clue how to go about it and Lamia also stood there wide eyes the news was so shocking.

" But be warned Damian even if you can end this you can't do it alone because the Queen of darkness is back and she is siding with the black dragons and sorry to say this you haven't level up to her so she will crush you like sand but two things can aid your success."

" Firstly find the last remnant of the tourch of lights and lastly the Prince of hell one of the contenders of Asmodues is rumoured to be in the mortal realm seek his help because he is the greatest witch alive and his powers might even be greater than Asmodues so seek his help and with this I hope you win the battle because with your current situation I doubt it because the Queen of darkness is winning."

Dante pretty sure his words has an impact signalled he was true and the guy dressed in suit came and locked the car door driving off in speed.

The silence around was deafening broken by Lamia weak gasps he was panting and Damian rushed to his side carrying him in a bridal style but he halted on hearing Cathy chilling words.

" Is the Queen of darkness not Irene the goddess and traitor from your past lives it appears she is back and with the situation at hands it seems we are returning to Ivory high to set things right if not the whole world will be engulfed in flames of the Black dragons."
