Cafe Au Latte In The middle of A city.
The weather is humid and chilly after such a heavy downpour. The perfect time to sip coffees or warm milk teas, with some snacks and delicious cookies. If you want to find a relaxing way to spend your time after you experienced a turmoil, then, visiting this cafe is one of the must things you should put on your must-to-do list.
The cafe had a simple decoration, the white curtains are paired with fragrance lavender flowers, and the owner hangs some simple, but stylish ornaments on the ceiling. Interesting words, quotes, and funny sentences with exclusive frames are plastered on the walls. Customers love to snap pictures of those words and saved them on their phones. Classical music is softly breezing its way around the cafe, giving a sense of serene and calming atmosphere to the customers.
Despite the peaceful atmosphere though, the two men in the corner of the cafe, however, facing a different situation. Ryan and Derrick Lee had a staring contest since thirty minutes ago. Ryan is glaring at the other man, while, Derrick with a smile plastered on his face, returned Ryan's intense gaze with a provocative one. Both of the gazes are implying two different meanings. One gazes full of contempt and disgust, while the other one is full of love and adoration.
"Ryan, how's your life? Eventful?" Derrick asked casually as if he is not the main suspect who killed Ryan in his old world.
"You mean after my death?" Ryan replied sarcastically. "Pretty interesting. And entertaining. I never thought I met you here, murderer. Who are you? Doctor Jackal, or Derrick Lee? You get some incredible talent in acting. I never thought that one day I will get to see your happy smiles. Your acting had some impact, that it makes me wanted to vomit my lunch."
"Quite different from the other me, right?" Derrick also agreed with Ryan's statement about himself. He ignored Ryan's insult at the end of his sentences, though. "Although, the original Derrick Lee is nothing like this. He is a serious person, rarely smiles, and never initiated a friendly conversation with his coworkers nor his subordinates. The dumbfounded looks on those people's faces when I greeting them on one fine morning, around two years ago, are priceless."
"You're not J?" Ryan eyeing the man suspiciously. J is scum with an overbearing and arrogant attitude. On top of that, he also had a narcissistic personality. He tends to look down, belittle, and torturing other people, just for his satisfaction. J allows minimum interaction and never once he smiles in front of other person even when a camera is pointing at him. The J he familiar with is closely resembled Derrick Lee, that he started doubting Derrick's identity. Why right now, he acted completely different than normalcy?
"What do you think? As the one who knows me the best, am I not J?" Derrick asked.
"This is weird, aren't you also transmigrating here?"
"Who knows?"
{White Ball, don't transmigrators had a restriction on them?}
(Of course, host. To ensure secrecy, you cannot OOC.)
{OOC? What the fuck is that? Can you eat that thing?} So, they do have restriction. Then, why? Ryan mentally asking himself.
White Ball is rolling its eyes in dismay. This is the reason why this system hates its host very much. The host never listens to its advice nor its instruction. He blindly rushes into the scene without any preparation and creates a discrepancy in the plots. The world's kindness is being wasted on such a man, that it's always pardoned host bold moves. The world grants him infinite access, so, he can do anything he wants. What so special about this one human is, this system could never guess the reason. Even the higher up always coaxes it to stay with the host.
(You cannot act out of the character. It's okay if the change is not obvious, and people around you disregarded it as a normal change in your life. Usually, this system will deduct points every time you act out of your character, but, the higher up said, as long as it not noticeable, you'll get a special pardon, and never get punished for that.) White Ball informed.
{You got such a nice employer, White Ball. One day, I want to meet them, to say my thanks.}
(Your thanks are unneeded, host.) White Ball mumbled under its breath.
{What? Did you say something, White Ball?}
(Nothing, host.)
Derrick chuckles.
"That's your system? Let me guess. Base on your simple train of thought, you must have named your system as White Ball or something similar, right?"
"Shut up. You are also the same. You might never be bothered to name your system and just called it Blacky, or Fluffy. Pathetic."
"It suited that thing perfectly. Look at its silky fur and fluffy appearance. What else you could call other than Blacky?"
Ryan glances at Blacky before he takes a look back at his system. He clicked his tongue in annoyance.
"Tch."

The two systems eyeing each other. When their eyes are making a contact, both awkwardly bowing their heads respectively.
(Your host seemed difficult to manage.) White Ball suddenly said.
(He's not easy to please.) Blacky nodded its head, agreeing with the other's opinion about its host. (I sometimes, regretting my decision to bound myself with him.)
(He doesn't want to do his mission?) White Ball inquired.
(Worse than that. He makes his own mission. I don't have the ability nor integrity to reprimand him. So. I give up and just asked him to absorb the dark energy required from the world.) Blacky solemnly added.
(...comrade...) White Ball shed an invisible tear. (My host also ignored the missions, disregarded the plots, and only agreed to do the missions after I begged, pestered, and kowtowed in front of him for three days straight.)
Blacky is choked on its[imaginary] saliva.
(At least, he is still willing to do them though. Mine...completely making his own rules and asked for the items in the system's shop, but unwilling to pay even one point for those items he requested. Instead, this humble system gets threatened and manipulated by him, every day.)
(My host attempted to destroy my precious collection multiple times already. They're priceless!)
(That psychotic host of mine makes me bore a debt of -500,000 points for a useless item!) Blacky complained.
(That stupid host of mine even OOC without any hint of guilt!) White Ball interjected.
(If you can read my host's mind, you will probably realize that I am the most pitiful system ever existed. That psychotic man only thinking about cutting, decapitating, and mutilating other people's bodies to pieces, and some disgusting gory stuff, and he also drooling in delight when he is stalking that host of you...)
{Ahem!}
White Ball and Blacky simultaneously looked at their sides.
Ryan stared at them with a disbelief look plastered on his face, while, Derrick's smile becomes stiffly wider. Although he is smiling warmly right now, the temperature in the cafe noticeably dropped.
Ryan: {...}
Derrick: {...}
Are you guys badmouthing your hosts openly in the public? It's not like we actually wanted to bound our soul to you either!
