Synopsis

As winter left, it stays by the side of man who pitifully enough decided to agree to it's deals. I'll do the synopsis better late, chiedo venia srry. also the cover is pretty stupid but I swear I can draw actually. I do not even write in English usually, think of this as a test honestly, hope it's somewhat enjoyable though.

Chapter 1Spring

Hiems transiiti!

Winter has passed, he has left for now!

Such words would the city's crowd chant as they rejoiced.

The women, men, and children all threw tulips around the streets as they celebrated the short-lived end of the cold. Truly, a joyous bunch.

However, in a nearby, dark and narrow alley, a man walked calmly as he admired the lanterns made of tainted glass hanging above. A few old ladies quickly retreated back in their houses as he passed, seeing the copious amount of blood he was drenched in.

Soon enough, a simply yet pretty neatly dressed lady in light armor looked at this said man, and with wide eyes and a troubled look she spoke in a firm tone.

She slightly raised her rifle towards him, not quite aiming correctly at first, but quickly fixing that.

"Stay still!"

The sentence had a very faint echo, anyways, the dazed young man stood in an harrowing calmness while so soaked in reds.

Baam!

The young man hit the wall, deep inside a basement in a building adjacent to the city's church. The lady with the rifle looked away as she stood at the entrance of the dark room, the man who was – rather unprofessionally – trying to get informations out the bloodied young man, then stopped holding him up from his coat, letting him slide down against the wall.

The cold room didn't offer decent sunlight nor did it do the courtesy of being welcoming, with the thin windows closed by bars who had seen better days, and the room's door being a gate that would fit rather well in front of a pitifully run-down graveyard.

The man turned to look at the lady and spoke, composed. "Lips shut, this one... Miss. Verkti, inform the gate's guard that someone will stay in the cell for the night."

The lady with the rifle, apparently named Miss. Verkti, nodded immediately and left quite quickly, still not placing her gaze on the beaten up young man.

The young man opened an eye slightly, seeing the man leave through the room's gate, then, he heard the faint voice of the lady from before talking with someone outside, the guard they mentioned earlier, probably.

Their words didn't quite reach him.

Rather unbothered, he closed his eyes as he leaned against the cold wall, and fell in the arms of sleep.

The sound of a mellow and aspirate flaute was heard twice in the darkness.

As he opened his eyes, the young man immediately noticed it was not reality.

Hiems...Hiems?

He thought, slowly standing up and glancing to the gate not so far from the cage he was locked in, which slowly appeared in the illusory world of dreams.

Hiems, what now?

He thought again, talking to winter himself, winter himself? of course.

At that moment a translucent figure wearing a perhaps white cape which also hid the face, formed from nothingness next to the gate, and smiled slightly. "What now, you ask? You wonder how to justify the horrendous amount of blood you've got on yourself, but truly, what blood?"

He spoke melodious, even, however with each word it gave more and more the feeling that it was the sound of wind trying to mimic human tongues.

In the cold room, as the slightliest of light began to enter, the young man "Querquetum", woke in a sweat as cold as his surroundings. The blood on his clothing inexplicably gone with the night.

He laughed at the sight.

Man...isn't this just going to make my situation just seem even more odd?

"What blood, officer?" no way those words will leave my lips!

Then, Querquetum stopped laughing.

Unless the madman messed with them, with their minds? Whatever...

He managed to get himself on his feet, trying not to mind the pain he felt. He walked towards the bars he was behind of, trying to get a better look at what was going on behind the gate, however, it seemed that behind it was only darkness, and thus he couldn't make out any detail clearly.

"Now you see?" she shouted in a mix of annoyance and disappointment. "You can't outsmart Scrients! They're the most intelligent beings across the two realms." "You're right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a heavy sigh. "I made a mistake. I was too arrogant to think that a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "Heik! Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I'm not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait, you can't. I killed them all.” ______ My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid, pointless scuffle, and in the middle of it, I tripped and hit my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in - the memories of another life, of a different world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First, I was in a game I used to play in my past life. Second, I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool and mysterious kind, either. No, my destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death! I was the worst type of cliché: an ungrateful, privileged, insufferable young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. The kind everyone hates — a snobby brat from a powerful noble family who thinks he owns the world just because he was born with a silver spoon lodged in his mouth. You know the type. The one the hero beats to a pulp to prove his worth. Yeah, I was that guy. And the hero? The hero was the kid I’d been bullying all this time. The same one I got into a fight with. He was the supposed savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And at the end of it all, the final antagonist of the game, the undefeatable boss… the Spirit King, was waiting. But could I even make it to the end? Could I conquer a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that was now my reality! “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could, but I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, twisting the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains before they could become threats - nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected? Who cares! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me—my survival, my life, my choices. “I will live this life with no regrets.” …But as I soon discovered, fate was not easily changed. And the price of altering one's destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR

Level 1 to Infinity: My Bloodline Is the Ultimate Cheat!

They shattered his life. Now, he’ll break the world. Ethan had it all, until his best friend and the woman he loved betrayed him, leaving him crippled and forgotten. Three years of suffering later, he clawed his way to one final, desperate act… and the universe answered. A hidden quest. A second chance. A return to the moment everything began. Now, Ethan is back, on the eve of Ethereal’s launch, the world’s first fully immersive VR game and the battlefield where legends are forged. Last time, he played fair. This time? He’s armed with years of knowledge: every exploit, every secret quest, every broken mechanic that will let him climb straight to the top. But when he logs in, something is off. The system forces him into an unwanted class—Druid, the game’s biggest joke. The kind of class people pick as a dare and regret immediately. Yet as Ethan digs deeper, the truth shakes him. [Congratulations! You have unlocked the Divine Bloodline: King of Elves!] Ethan stared at the screen, unblinking. “…The hell?” The Druid class was a jack-of-all-trades, master of none—a scattered mess of abilities that mimicked other classes but never truly excelled. Their bear form lacked the raw defense of a proper tank. Their panther form was weaker than a rogue. Their healing fell short of a priest, and their magic couldn’t compare to a mage’s devastating spells. Most players abandoned the class early, realizing they could never compete at the highest level. And yet, Ethan’s stats are off the charts. His talents are absurd. His potential is beyond anything he’s ever seen. The system has given him something no other Druid ever had—a divine bloodline, legendary abilities, and a growth rate that defies logic. If Druids were meant to be weak, then Ethan was the exception that would rewrite history. He’s not just here to reclaim his throne. He’s here to take everything. Factions will rise. Empires will fall. The strongest will thrive, and the weak will perish. And the ones who betrayed him? They won’t live to do it again.
