*Scarlet point of view*
The part of me I didn't want to remember? Why does it feel like… like I understood something during that conversation, only to forget it again?
"Is it over? Did we win already?" I heard Sera ask.
"I doubt it," Jenna replied, looking around the hall. "If we were finished… wouldn't we see them by now?" she asked.
But… we didn't.
An uneasy silence fell over us as we waited, hoping to see some sign that we'd completed the labyrinth. But nothing changed—the torches still flickered, the shadows still stretched along the walls, and the air felt heavy, as if something was holding its breath.
Sera shifted nervously. "Maybe… there's something we missed?"
Jenna gripped the crystal tighter, her eyes scanning the room for anything unusual. "The voice said we proved ourselves… but if that's true, then what are we supposed to do now?"
"It even congratulated us, right? For supposedly winning," I said.
