Lived certain beings.
Beings who innovated, invented, and discovered

Yet, they were weak.
Of their physical abilities, they were merely average.
They had no unique abilities, unlike the other creatures of their world.

Perhaps that wasn't true.

Mostly hairless creatures, with weak bodies and able minds.
