Overheating

"Anything?" Asked Anya while looking at Aiden. She was afraid to ask for this, but she really needed it.

"Anything!" Aiden calmly replied, contrasting his true feelings.

"Can you cooperate with my father? He owns land but does not have the capital to develop it." Said Anya.

Aiden felt grateful that Anya did not ask for a divorce from him, but that didn't mean he liked the request made by Anya. His wife asked something for her father's sake, "Did Deny tell you to ask me?" He said coldly.

Anya could feel Aiden's annoyance, "Ah, if you can't fulfill it, I can change my request." Anya said quietly. Her voice trembled slightly as she said it.

Aiden had no intention of scaring Anya. He took a deep breath and said, "No need."

"He's still my father." Anya's voice dropped lower and lower. After that, she said nothing.
