"Auntie, are you eavesdropping?" Nico whispered from beside Anya.

Anya felt very embarrassed when she saw Nico. How could she have forgotten that Nico was in this house?

"If I said no, would you believe it?" Anya could only take a deep breath.

"I also heard that Keara wanted to cancel her engagement with Uncle Ivan and return to Uncle Aiden. But you must remember that relationships cannot work only by one person. If she wanted to come back, she had to ask my uncle's approval. So, you don't need to worry," Nico said, trying to comfort Anya.

"Ha ha..." that bland laugh came from Anya's lips.

She also thought the same thing as Nico before. If indeed Keara wanted to get back together with Aiden, it did not necessarily mean Aiden wanted the same thing.

Wouldn't his pride be tarnished if he took back the woman who cheated on him?

However, Anya's prediction was wrong.
