(Stella POV)

I took a deep breath when I made it to my room and was able to finish all the annoying things. At this time, my husband just stood there looking at him with a very strange look.

He seemed confused about what to do.

"Sit down, make yourself at home. Usually I sleep alone, but now it seems I have to share this bed with you." I told him.

"No need Miss, I'll just sleep somewhere else. I don't want to disturb your time." He said as he looked down at the floor below him, he knew his limits and he knew when to act as my subordinate.

Honestly, I don't need a husband, I just need something that can benefit me.

"Yes, do you have any questions about all of this?" I asked while undressing one by one, I have to take a shower. All the rituals make me feel uncomfortable.

"No questions yet, I will carry out all your orders." Xavier said, his voice always gave me goosebumps. he has a lot of power to thrill my heart, am I overreacting to all this helplessness?

"Good, you can find any room you like in this Mansion." I told him.

I thought he was going to leave right away, but instead he looked me in the eye and seemed to be waiting for something.

"Is it okay for me to do this work? I mean, I have a few orphans who need food. I work for them, so I was wondering if I get paid in cash? Ahh… No, food or drink doesn't matter either." Xavier said quite quickly and seemed like he was really scared of me.

He asks about the pay? So he thinks I won't pay for it?

He's really adorable, somehow the story I can feel that Xavier is able to tear little by little my frozen heart.

Bella's words made me almost vomit my entire stomach, to be more precise, I already felt sick when I heard all the things she said.

I laughed again when everything seemed clearer now.

"You beasts! Truly like animals! Do whatever it takes to win. Bella! You've been my sister all along! What's lacking in me? What made you do something like this!" Unknowingly my tears fell, my chest hurts and my breath feels tighter.

"Sorry Stella, there's something you don't understand and I can't explain." That was all Bella said, then she walked over to Xavier's side.

So? Bella chose them? Am I alone again?
