Jeremiah and Sargon walked together into one of the larger courtyards amongst the sprawling construction of the Den’s various hallways and rooms, Sargon had been taking the time to talk to Jeremiah about why he would be qualified to train him, and how they would get to unlocking his powers.

“I know that you must be concerned, after all the closest being to you and your magic is probably Laricus himself, so it’s not like we have someone available to teach you that knows what you can do exactly. But I am a powerful user of the shifter’s brand of magic, moon magic, and on top of that I am an accomplished warrior. I trained Sara myself and I know you’ve seen her fight. So, what we are going to do, Jeremiah, is a quick mock fight between you and me. I want to see how these cords of magic work. Before we begin, are there any defensive qualities to them or are they just offensive?” Sargon stood with Jeremiah and spoke, almost like a lecturer in a schoolhouse.
