It has been a day since I had burnt down a whole floor of the dungeon. Now I am on the next floor of the dungeon. And this floor consists only of insects. Numerous insects. Huge insects. Numerous and huge insects.
It has been the most irritating floor ever, though this floor provided quite the boost in the passive enhancement from the Gem of Serenity, but still it's annoying.
.
Dozens of bus sized, centipede like creatures try to attack me but I weave in between them. I point my gun towards one of them and then fire.
Immediately a huge chunk of flesh was torn away from one of the Centipedes. Suddenly thousands of small poisonous insects gets released from the other Centipedes, they try to poison me but all of the insects just pass straight through me as if I don't even exist. This is one of the skills from Herscherr of the Void, manipulating space I create a layer of reality on top of normal space. This can allow me to phase through objects, become invisible and without proper power or abilities my enemies can't even hurt me. But the problem is that the cost of such a skill is a lot, and I can only activate it continuously for about ten minutes.
I dismiss the skill, fire at one of the Centipedes and then activate the skill again. This skill is also great for hit and run tactics. After doing this for a few minutes all of the Centipedes die finally. Then to kill the insects I create a bottle of gasoline and spread it across the floor, after that I activate my fire manipulation ability which causes the gasoline to burn up. The smoke from the fire slowly kills every single insect. I protected myself from the fire and the smoke by making a Void Barrier around me.

The next floor of the dungeon was a little unique. The entire floor was relatively empty and only a few monsters revolved around the floor.
But the most unnatural thing was not the absence of the monsters. No. It was the presence of two large door right in the middle of the floor. Beside the door were two huge cyclops statues but I can feel that they are alive. But the problem is that, there are also two cyclops corpses right infront of the statues.
Do the monsters respawn?
'No.'
Huh? Then what are the corpses?
'It shouldn't respawn but someone is making it respawn. And they are not respawning all of the monsters but only in a quantity that can help you improve your skills. As if someone is helping you.' replied Sirin.
Someone is helping me? But who could it be? It cannot be my classmates because firstly, I absolutely don't have a good relationship with them and secondly they are not powerful enough to influence the dungeon itself.
"Ah fuck it! I don't care anymore..."
I open the door and look around. Though the insides are dark, a little bit of spatial awareness will helps me understand the whole structure of the room. The architecture of the room resembles that of the Church a lot. I start walking forward and come across a what appears to be a puddle of mud in the middle of the room. There were also a few chains present in the puddle. Suddenly I notice the destroyed corpse of what was once a house sized scorpion monster.
I walk towards the corpse and suddenly the whole floor starts vibrating. I jump back a little and take out my guns. I start pointing the guns in every direction, waiting for the monster to come. But my spatial awareness detects the monster to be right above me, stuck to the ceiling. I immediately teleport myself away from my location and instanly a huge scorpion monster falls right on the place where I was standing just a second ago.
I shoot towards the monster but the bullets from Judgement of Shamash doesn't even scratch the body of the monster. I dismiss the guns and create three Void Lances. I launch the Lances towards the monsters. The Lances are able to crack the body. After hitting the monster, the Void Lances dematerialise and instanly appears right beside me.
The monster then lifts up his two claws and tries to slash those towards me. I create a Void Barrier to block the claws, and though the Barriers were able to block the claws the Barrier got badly damaged.
I launch the Lances again but this time it phases right through the monster and comes to a stop near the eyes of the monster.
The monster was confused seeing the Lances but they are not even tangible, but dismissed it thinking they are illusions. But the moment I snapped my fingers, the Lances became real and was lodged inside the head of the monster. The monster started roaring in pain but even then the monster was not dying!
I finally make the desicion to use the only original God Key in my possession. I will for it to appear and immediately I see black colour feathers appear around me.
Wasn't this yellow or orange?
'The God Keys act differently to different owners.'
I order the feathers to go and show a particular illusion to the monster. The feather complies and immediately the roars of the monster increase in intensity. The attention of the monster suddenly turns towards a different direction and I use that moment to launch my Lances into the head of the monster again and again.
I continue this process almost 4 times and the monster starts staggering a little. Seeing victory so close I start launching more Lances towards the monster. Finally after almost 2 minutes, the monster falls down on the ground. I wait for a little while, to see if the monster is really dead. Seeing no movement I dismiss the Lances and the God Key.
But suddenly the monster rises it's claws and started slashing towards me. I try to dodge the attack, but I am unable to dodge it completely. Teleportation would not work instantly and my Void Barriers have not repaired themselves yet. Suddenly I start to get a weird feeling in my arms. I follow the feeling and point my arms towards the claw. Something comes out of my arm and immediately the claw grazes past my body completely changing its direction.
I don't wait for anything and use my Void Hands ability to completely crush the monster into paste, only then can I rest easy.
What was that?
'The awakening of your last and final gem. Gem of Desire.'
