2 Mission

Jason was stupefied by what he heard, he glanced at his surroundings and notice a few nurses walking into the corridor, and beside him was the chair he sat. 'System?' He thought and then remembered the word system from the novels he usually read, they represent the same with god giving powers to the host, as he thought of this his worries were swept away by his excitement.

He called the system in his mind to check if it's true 'System' then after few seconds several numerical data started to circle like a black hole and formed words that appeared in his sight.

Jason looked at the screen in front of him touching it was impossible it was like grasping light, he glanced around and the nurses and others who sat on the chairs didn't seem to notice the screen in front of him. 'I'm the only one that can see it." An energy rushed straight to his spine he immediately forced himself to not shout here because he was excited!

The first thought was to assist his parents since he now had a system, although he read a lot of novels on his phone the systems were different from the other. Sitting on the chair he breathes in and out and when his body started to relaxed he took a careful glance at the screen, 'Karma?' The first one that he noticed was the karma on the screen, currently, he had 85. He asked the system in his mind about the karma and to his surprise it replied.

Karma is what bound all beings and their guide to their future selves, lower karma that had negative will be placed in the evil category, and high karma that had positive will be placed in the good category. ]

After reading it he slowly nodded his head which earned him strange looks from the people who were not far away from him, he put his hands on his forehead and thought about what he read he didn't mind the others strange looks because he was hooked about his future!

From what he understand having more karma will be good and since his karma was good he was sure that it was a good thing, he looked at the screen and glance at the numbers on his strength, agility, these two were his greatest advantage and the rest were normal. After understanding the system he now had another problem, how will he raise his strength?

He folded his legs and thought about how the system seemed to reply when he asked earlier so maybe if he asked again it will reply? But just as he was about to ask a man around 36 years old wearing the standard doctor clothes was walking in his direction, his eyes were looking at the number of the rooms and he paused at Jason father's room.

Jason stands up and glances at the doctor and the latter smiled and said: "Are you the relative of the person inside?" Jason put his hands in his pockets as he replied "I'm his son." The doctor's eyebrows slightly raised and he opened the door behind him was Jason and his expression was different from earlier. He was worried about what the doctor would say.

His mother weakly turned and saw the doctor her eyes which were dim started to turn bright, she slowly stands up and approaches the doctor while saying "Doc how's my husband!?" The doctor cast an annoyed look on his eyes before he replied "I need to check him first ma'am." Seeing his mother's hands tightly grasping the doctor's clothes he sighed and started to whisper to his mother "Mom I'll be alright I'm here and father is strong I'm sure everything will be alright just sit first."

After hearing her son's words she nodded and slowly let go the doctor while sitting on the nearby chair, Jason apologized to the doctor before following his mom and started to comfort her. As the doctor examined his father Jason's eyes flashed a light as he remembered the look on the doctor's face when his mother approached him.

Doctors had great standing on the social structure especially in the red coconut district, although they can't live in the blue coconut district where rich people live they still had a high standing in the red coconut district, as he was swimming in his thoughts the doctor finished the examination and his face wore a serious look.

The doctor writes something in his notebook and said to the two "He needs to stay here for a month, his heart was beating slowly because of the heart attack, his body was also put in a stress causing his situation to turn deadly." When his words traveled at his mother's ear, her eyes were dim as though the whole world leaves her. Jason's heart was cold his father's body was unknown to him did he keep this a secret from them? He led the doctor outside and closed the door shut.

Silent was dominating the room but was broken by sobs coming from his mother, he can't bear the sight of this! He walked to his mother and started to calmed her down, after hours of talking that he himself didn't believe his mother slowly fell asleep leaving behind a soft word that touches something in Jason's heart "Don't leave me."

'I won't mother.' He stayed in the room for a few minutes, he can't leave the room not because he can't but his mother's head was on his shoulder and there was only one bed in the room. He sighed but his eyes were bright! There was hope, and the system just prove that to him, he then asked the system on what's troubling him 'System how can I grow stronger?' As usual, the system screen appeared in front of him.

The system will issue a mission every week, after completing the host would be rewarded based on the difficulty of the mission. After acquiring high amounts of karma the weekly chest function will be opened. ]

He slowly nodded his head and then the screen in front of him vibrated until new words began to appear 'due to the host understanding the missions on page3, a mission was issued please check the content below.' He glanced below and noticed a mailbox that had 1 unseen message, he clicked his tongue this is amazing! He then opened the inbox and read the message.

'Helping a person?' Jason's eyes turned bright the mission was easy maybe but upon seeing the punishment he was worried, but on second thought whatever happened he must focus on being stronger and acquire supernatural powers! Just thinking about those stuff he read in novels where one can manipulate fire and others transforming into terrible monsters.

His shoulder began to lighten as his mother was awake, she glances at Jason and said "Go home you need to rest I'll stay here to watch your father." Jason immediately shakes his head "Mom you need to rest I will watch father don't worry about it." At first, his mother was hesitant but when her eyelids were getting heavy and the "ill be alright" that she was almost tired of hearing from her son she nodded her head.

Helping her mother stand up Jason gave one glance at his father and thought to himself 'Father I will protect mother I promise that.' Then the two walked out of the room, after walking toward the parking lot the air was slightly cold as it passed the two, the lamps were yellow giving light to the surroundings it also illuminated a black car that was parking not far away from the two.

After driving back home Jason helped her mother inside but her mother refused she also handed him 1000cc and closed the door when she saw her son giving it back. Jason was standing outside of the house holding the 1000c in his hands, he smiled while taking one glance at the house before driving to the nearby store.

The store was wide and the lights from it attracted peoples who come and go to the store, above the store was NinaStore which stands tall emitting varieties of colors that reflected into the night. Jason will not sleep tonight so he will buy chocolate and drink a coffee to swept away the sleepiness that was hiding in his eyes. Stepping inside the warm temperature greeted him which relaxed his body, the smell was a mix of meat and other stuff that he didn't recognize, he pulled a cart and began the shopping spree of no sleeping tonight!

'Five energy chocolate bars and a pack of black coffee and then some snacks because why not.' After paying for the items he asked the clerk for one glasses of hot water, after that he headed outside of the store and glance at the few people who were sitting in the stones-chair, he frowned when he smelled the smoke from cigarette coming to a nearby chair. It was a man around 25 years old his eyes were bloodshot his foot raised up into the table.

He didn't stare at the man because he didn't want trouble but others weren't good as him, few people around five wearing all black with a scorpion tattoo on their left cheeks approached the man and they began to talk. His hands which were holding the tip of the glass were shaking because of the terrible temperature he glanced around and soon found a place slightly far away from the store.

Placing the cup of glass to the chair and then began to gently put the plastic on the side of the table, he grabbed the black coffee and bites it to open and added it to the water after shaking it the water turned black with some smoke emitting from it. As he was about to take a sip he instinctively turned his head to the right and saw a young girl sitting not far from him, her attractive blue eyes were staring at the plastic which was placed on his table.

"Hey, where are your parents?" Jason asked as he took a sip and was awoken by the bitter taste of the coffee, the girl hesitated before replying with a soft voice "Working, I'm waiting for them." Jason was interested a lonely girl suddenly appearing out of nowhere? He again took a sip and was getting along with the bitter taste and said "I'm Jason what's your name?" The girl didn't hesitate and replied "Helen."

"Are you hungry? Come I bought some snacks and they are many I can't eat all of them." He reached out to the plastic and grabbed the one with a smooth texture and showed it to the girl. The girl's face had a surprise when she saw the snack it was a Princess rings nacks and girls always bought it, her classmates also bought them and when she searched the store she found that they are sold out, she tried every store was but it was the same result. Now seeing the Princess rings her eyes turned bright as she slowly walked to Jason.

'My luck is kinda special, I don't remember buying this snack.' He was speechless he just casually grabbed some snacks and the one he grabbed was for girls, the girl may think he was into this snack! After a few minutes, both of them had an understanding to each other, Jason found out that the girl was waiting for her parents and she was getting hungry so she walked into the store but found out that her wallet had no life ( money ) thus the situation now was the girl started eating the Princess Rings.
