Public's Job

".. Umm, but how do I find them ?" 

Thap asked Via with a puzzled expression on his face.

"Oh right, he lost his memory. I don't think he has any knowledge about plants or even herbs at the moment right ?" 

Bart expressed his concern with a reasonable assumption.

"Oh, you were right. Sorry about that. I think there are some public labor jobs that are currently available at the moment, I will go and bring them out for you."

Public Labor jobs typically refer to jobs that could be range widely in scope and function, serving various sectors such as construction, maintenance, transportation and utilities around the city. Payment will be given at the end of the day but the payment was not much. Public jobs that lacked manpower will seek adventurer's guild for assistance, as the number of adventurers kept on rising from day to day. 

There was also a policy that the adventurer's guild had established to maintain the principle and the image of the guild.

In order to keep on being an adventurer, the individual must fulfill quests from the guild as much as they can according to their rank, public labor jobs will not be considered as a quest because it was not allocated by the guild and the guild did not receive any commission from it. 

The Guild provided many privileges to all adventurers such as collaboration, networking, obtaining knowledge, receiving assistance and more.

The goal of the guild was to become an independent and powerful organization in the country but the government and the military already awared about this, that's why they kept on pressuring them and kept their eye on them. 

Refered to the goverment's investigation so far, they found out that many powerful and skillful people alway chose to become adventurers, not soldiers or social workers. This matter had become a main topic for a long time as the higher up began to feel uneasy about this figures. They were afraid that the guild might planned to take control over the country and became the most powerful and an independent establishment across the continent. If this was likely to happens the future of each country might become chaotic. 

Everything's change after the royal had taken this matter into their account. The King, himself had hosted a long discussion and consideration with the head of the guild to come up with an agreement where they signed a long lasting contrast that strengthened their cooperation and united under the government and the royal's regulation. 

"Here they are ! But they are not a guild's quest but a public's job. You can work on them at the mean time because you haven't regain your memory back. Special consideration will be applied."

Via spoke out while showing the lists to Thap. 

"Ummm. .. ok"

Thap replied back with an uncertain though as he was not sure what Via was talking about, moreover because he didn't want to waste their precious time any longer, he just confirmed her with an "ok" reply without any further questions. 

"That's good, Thap, why don't you try working on them for a while and see if your memory could return !"

Bart comforted him while patting on his back. 

"Hehe .. Thanks Bart and you too Ms. Via"

He quickly expressed his gratitude to both of them.

"Umm .. Mr. Thap .. I think one of these jobs is urgently needed and the payment is also goods. Don't you want to try it ?"

Via proposed him with another job while checking on her list.

"See, she found you another job ! How quick she was !"

Bart exclaimed with a smile and praised Via.

"Sure, I will try my best !!"

Thap said confidently with a high spirit. 

"Clean the sewer"

Via spoke out with a smile while informing him about the job that was said to be highly needed and pay very high. 

"Clean … the...sewer .."

Thap muttered to himself softly with an uneasy feeling about the job that he was about to do.
