“Hey guys, I need to go to the shrine for a bit.”

“....shrine of Razhan-sama? I want to pay a visit there.”
“Oh....I thought...nevermind. Alright, we will go there.” she calmed down for no reason again. Something is very fishy. Whenever we talk about a shrine or church she acts like that.
“I can’t go to such a holy place with Draken. We will both get ourselves killed. I will be leaving you all here.”
“I hate that Razhan guy. I wouldn’t dare go there even if it wasn’t a shrine of his.” said a deep voice from Joro.
“....Alright, see ya at the mansion then.” Joro teleported from my shoulders leaving a shadowy trace. We started for the shrine on the outskirts of the main part of this town. This place is quite empty and relaxing like Grodmin’s house. Wait, I think I am forgetting something.
“Hello there adventurers. Welcome to the Shrine of Razahan-sama. May he bless you all. How can I help you?” the shrine master said as we approached it. It was made out of wood just like any other shrine in Japan. There was a door to go inside.
“....Isn’t Razahan-sama supposed to help me instead of you?”
“Well aa...that’s true. But, if you do something wrong paying a visit or offering, I am the one who is going to help you out right? Please come right in.” the shrine master opened the door for us and I entered.
“Yeah right. Just go already Hanji. We will just wait here.....Oh Razhan-sama, help us on our adventurer.” Lina offered a prayer after getting a glimpse of the old man’s glare. She elbowed Furara after that.
“Huh? Oh, aa- guide us throughout our journey as well.”
They bowed and then waited outside. I also started to offer a prayer.
“Good, you did quite well. Now, I would like to tell you something.” said a voice after I closed my eyes.
“....what is it?”
“It’s about this world, what is gonna happen to you in future and so-so”

“‘Ahem’ adventurer, I think that will be enough. You can leave now.” the shrine-master announced as Razahan was going to say something useful. Oh great.
“Tell him this, ‘I would like to speak with this child Hydel.’ Don’t forget to keep your eyes closed.”

I turned to the shrine-master with my eyes closed just like Razahan-sama said and then,
“I would like to speak with this child, Hydel. That’s what Razahan-sama said.”
“....I was standing on your right but alright. I will leave you here alone then.” after that awkward moment, there were footsteps and a door which was opened and then closed.
“Now, about this world. Everything is fine. No demon general attacks anywhere yet after the defeat of Celestia.”
“That’s good to hear.”
“But a demon will appear before you guys.”
“Huh? A demon? What demon? When?”
“Can’t tell you that. Now, about yourself, you have been wondering why everything is so peaceful now right? You have been fighting bosses like enemies before but nothing is happening now.”
“Yeah, I was thinking that. Everything is so peaceful now. I kinda feel like this is all fishy and something definitely going to happen, and it will be terrible.”
“Well, rest assured. Nothing bad will happen to you for a while. You have been through a lot, so you deserve some rest.”

“Before I leave, the thing you forgot is you have a part-time job at Grodmin’s shop now.”
I slowly opened my eyes. The wooden saisen box and the altar was present before me. The statue of a cooler version of Razahan stared down at me coldly. I quietly left the place. After all I have to go to Grodmin’s shop.
I opened the door and saw Furara and Lina being scolded by the shrine-master.
“....never know how to respect a shrine now. How dare you sit on the stairs?”
“We are sorry shrine-master. We got tired of waiting so sat on the stai…”
“Oh look! Hanji is here already. Let’s go and leave this place!” Lina grabbed Furara and me then dragged us away from this place.
“What the heck are you doing?!”
“Oi! You damn brats! Get back here!” the old man yelled at us as we were running away. After running away from that place, we stopped under a tree and tried to get our breath back.
“Why the heck ‘heavy breathing’ did you make that guy angry?”

“Nevermind that. Let's just get back home.”
“About that, I have to go to Grodmin’s shop. I was supposed to do the part-time job there again from today.”
“What the hell? You are saying that after dragging us here to this shrine? We could’ve gone home with Draken if you said that earlier.” I got scolded by Lina.
“I am sorry.”
“It’s alright Lina-san. We can just go there with him and help Grodmin out.” Furara was on my side protecting me from this woman.
“Hmm, I guess we can go there. Oh! I am gonna check if he really works there or not. Nice, two birds with one stone.”
What the heck do you think I do there then? I work hard with everyone else...well, I just laze around the reception, but I do help out loading and unloading the shop.
“Alright, let’s get going to Grodmin’s shop.”
“Hai hai.” we marched along with Lina leading our way to Grodmin’s shop.
