School escape

Cain grabbed a shelf and pushed it in front of the door before throwing some desks in front of it. He looked back at the six people who were looking at him, they all had different expressions on their faces. Cain signed and glared over at them, they responded by the few who had weapons lifting them.

The two guys looked ready to attack while one of the girls with a wooden sword and white hair had a blank expression but the way her grip tightened around the sword told him all he needed to know. They noticed the gun he was holding and the two guys instantly started sweating as they looked at him. One was a few inches shorter than the others but they wouldn't be classified as short the shorter one that wore a mask and had black hair was at least 5'11.

"Can we calm down? That damn thing is gonna come through the door any minute now! That shelf won't hold it at all!" a girl with an angry expression said, she had red hair and two long ponytails. She snapped Cain back to the world.

"How are we gonna get down exactly? Would you care to explain little Miss know it all?" the guy next to the one with the mask said, he had black hair and looked rather handsome and was tall. He wasn't as tall as Cain but he wasn't off by much.

The girl turned red with anger and pointed towards a roll made of cloth. (what is this a fucking Disney movie?! That's not gonna hold fuck all) Cain thought in his head as he heard a loud thud on the door.

Cain instinctively pointed his pistol at the door as he backed away from it "hurry up then so we can get the fuck out of here. This was a fucking dumb idea on my part to come here" Cain's words were sharp and felt hurtful even though no one knows why he came here at all.

"T-then why did you come here?" a quiet yet soothing voice blessed Cain's ears. A short girl with short black and blond hair was hiding between the two guys.

(when the fuck did she get there?) Cain looked surprised as he looked at her with a slightly irritated expression. He pointed at the taller lady with golden yellow hair that looked to be a teacher and motioned for her and the rest to go and get out already.

All of them quickly started to go down the makeshift rope one by one the last guy with the mask slid down too fast and landed face-first on the concrete.

One of the girls let out a little yelp as they saw some blood come out from under his mask as he stood up clutching his face. It was followed by a loud thud behind the guy. Cain quickly landed on the ground behind him and stared at him.

"You must not value your life." Cain glared down at the boy as he looked at him. He scrambled to his feet and picked up this makeshift gun that uses staples, nails, and bolts. They all started walking towards a large bus that looked like it was in peak condition.

(it seems this outbreak just happened. Then what the hell is that black thing?)Cain looked at one of the side doors as he saw zombies squishing their faces on the door trying to get out of the school.

"The school lock system must be keeping them inside rather well." the girl with the red hair and glasses said as she walked and looked at the doors.

They started to board the bus but as Cain stepped on the bus stairs he heard a noise. It was a noise that was very distinct and Erie.

-crack

Tick -tick -tick

-Crack

Cain looked up to see the black creature in one of the windows in the upper-story building. It was pushing on the windows slowly.

"GET ON THE FUCKING BUS!" the guy with the mask said before pulling the can into the bus the teacher started to start the bus but it wouldn't start it kept stalling each time they attempted.

CRACK-

BOOM!

"Ah FUCK!" the creature fell from the roof and crashed against the ground before picking itself up and looking at the bus. It made a disgusting grin as it stared at the tented windows. The girl with short hair started crying.

Cain pulled out a rifle and the bus finally started working. The black creature dashed at high speeds towards the bus along with a few zombies as soon as they heard the engine start.

The teacher instantly put all her force into the pedal, the bus starts to move quickly you wouldn't expect a bus to move so fast. Followed by a loud noise from within the bus.

BOOM-

Cain had fired off a shot from the rifle and it hit the creature in the leg, it tumbled into the fence as the bus sped towards the gate. At the gate, we saw some kids trying to get over it. They were not infected at all and were just trying to get out of the school. They had tears streaming down their faces.

"W-we have to save them." the girl with the short hair said as she kept crying.

"Don't you dare stop!" Cain looked at the teacher with malice. She made an audible yelping noise but the bus started to slow.

"I-i can't." the teacher said as she started to lift her foot from the break. She immediately felt pressure in her foot before the bus sped up again. She looked up to her right to see Cain there stepping on her foot and making the bus accelerate.

"Then I will!" the bus sped towards the closed gate as the students at the gate looked at the bus in horror.

Splat~

CRUNCH-

BOOM-

They blasted out of the gate as the sky started raining down red from above.

The teacher looked on in front of her, in horror, as she kept driving the bus.

"Y-you monster."
