The Hacker Competition(1)

No matter how hard her friends tried to locate her, she was untraceable. They were also afraid to disturb and alert her, so they could only remain in the dark and try to find her. But who was Sophie? She was an intelligent woman, so, she concealed herself in a way that even if she were to come in front of them, they would not recognize her.

Meanwhile, the competition drew nearer. Sophie was loitering among the streets, when she noticed a freckled young man with big moustache and a mole on the corner of his right eye. The young man clearly noticed her and a surprised look passed through his eyes, which he was clever to conceal immediately, but was unfortunately noticed by Sophie.

After being noticed by Sophie, he did not turn away, but instead chose to come closer to her. He said in a gentle tone, "Hello Miss Phoenix, I hope you are well."

"Hi Mr. Dragon, long time no see."

"Indeed it has been a long time.", the young man couldn't help but recall the past.

"So, this competition has even managed to force the No. 1 on the leaderboard to appear. Huh?"

"I no longer hold the title of being the No. 1 in the leader board. It has been snatched by you a long time ago. Did you forget?"

"I certainly didn't."

"So, let's challenge each other."

"What's the challenge? What is the reward?"

"The challenge is that both of us would use 10% of our skills to defeat each other. The winning party would ask a question or may demand something and the losing party has to answer that or fulfill the demand without any further questions. Are you going to take up this challenge?"

"Yes. I'm going to take up this challenge. Let the best person win."

After saying their piece, they went on their separate ways. But the passerby heard their conversation and were excited. Who doesn't know the famous hackers of this generation? Infact they had such cliché names - Dragon96 and Phoenix97.

So, the legendary leaders are joining this competition. Some were excited, others were disappointed, because, if those monsters were to join, they would be out of picture soon. They were excited because they may be able to experience the battle of these two famous hackers.

The main characters of the discussion were unaware of the storm they had created. William sneaked into the camp and heard this discussion and was dumbfounded. He knew that the leaderboard has this two legendary characters, but he never knew them. Whenever Sophie taught him, she would work from a normal profile. The high profile avatar of hers was only used in most important situations or whenever she would try to play with someone.

C raised an eyebrow when he saw that sneaky figure. Sophie requested him to stand guard so that none of her friends reach this place. She had some insider information regarding this. Her intelligence network warned her that they are going to search for that legendary hacker. She was going to compete but she did not want her friends to bite the bait. 'But William is already here. Should I inform her?', he deliberated for a while before deciding to inform Sophie. He called her, "Hello, Target W has approached the destination. Any observation?"

"No, let it be. Water the plants well."

"Hah...", he laughed scornfully and thought, 'She wants me for this menial tasks of informing those old men? No way! I'm not going to face those old men now. They'll pester me for sure.'

After a while Grandpa Po called and asked worriedly, "Will this hinder our plans?"

"I hope not."

"Ok, C ya later.", he boomed with laughter and then hung up.

C sent one of his subordinates to look after Sophie's friends. He then asked another subordinate to keep tabs on Ruby and Susan. He needs to keep the security tight.

On the other hand, the security of the island in which Melania was staying was increased. Although, it was a private island, but that person didn't want to take risks with Melania.

Melania understood that something important was going on, and Xiao Hao would not be available for the time being, so he has increased the security. He smiled. That guy is so meticulous. He takes everything into consideration before doing anything.

Melania switched on the television and saw the news that the Hacker Competition organized by Jeremy Technologies was going to be held the next day. On hearing the name Jeremy Technologies, Melania stiffened.
